Children who attend Stick 'n' Step all have cerebral palsy and other related motor disorders. They come from across the North West of England and North Wales to access our free conductive education sessions. Conductive Education (CE) is based on the premise that people with motor disorders learn best when teaching is tailored to their specific strengths and needs.

The charity arranges, promotes and delivers activities for the benefit of the public in particular in Stockport and its surrounding areas, including community participation in healthy recreation for children and other citizens who have needs due to their disablement, poverty or other social and economic circumstances - with the aim of improving their overall health, skills and conditions of life.

In essence we provide welfare and education services to the Chinese and other ethnic minority communities. We run projects such as elderly luncheon club and elderly carers for people over 60, women and family, youth, mental health to get people people back to the society, and adult education. The principal activity of the African Caribbean Care Group is to promote the welfare of older people of African Caribbean descent, in Manchester, Trafford and neighbouring districts, by providing care services, advancing education and promoting the physical, social and mental health of the beneficiaries.

Our delivery method is gendered, individual and holistic offering a 'one stop shop' service to women in Stockport.We support, empower and educate women to improve their well-being and physical and mental health enabling them to have improved life chances for themselves and their families.

We provide information, support and counselling to women over 18 who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives.

The order operates retreats and spiritual exercises on a daily basis at various locations within the British Isles. Smithstone House in Kilwinning facilitates a community service learning program for offenders. The order promotes courses and conferences for young people from inner cities and deprived areas. In Bootle the order also cares for seafarers, most of whom come from developing countries.

The church operates from the heart of Bramhall, a suburb of Stockport, offering a wide range of activities in pursuit of its objectives. A weekend and bank holiday day centre providing social day care for people living with dementia, and their carers, who reside within the boundaries of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council.We offer a wide range of activities to suit all tastes for people who live with dementia including crafts, quizzes, bingo, games and gardening, as well as providing external entertainers such as singers.
