We promote services to enable deaf, hard-of-hearing and deafblind people to improve the quality of their lives. The Deaf Centre provides facilities for Sports & Social Club, Deafblind, Youth Group and 50 Group. All groups are supported through training and volunteer project we have. We run an agency which provides Sign Language Interpreters. We also provide BSL and Deaf Awareness training.

We provide community hubs and services focussed on the areas of highest deprivation around Greater Manchester. Targeting support for families, children and vulnerable people, we use a range of resources to improve lives.

Refuge and dispersed property accommodation for victims of domestic abuse including women, men and children. Floating Support Service, Community Support, Children and Young Peoples Service, Education and Training.

We provide information, support and counselling to women over 18 who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives.

The object of the Company is to provide a community transport service for such of the inhabitants of Stockport and its surrounding area who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness or disability (mental or physical), or poverty, or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

Respect for All works in Greater Manchester to enhance the mental and physical health of learning-disabled people, autistic people and their families and carers by providing a specialist counselling service. We also aim to educate the public about issues faced by learning disabled people, autistic people and their carers.

Our delivery method is gendered, individual and holistic offering a 'one stop shop' service to women in Stockport.We support, empower and educate women to improve their well-being and physical and mental health enabling them to have improved life chances for themselves and their families.

The order operates retreats and spiritual exercises on a daily basis at various locations within the British Isles. Smithstone House in Kilwinning facilitates a community service learning program for offenders. The order promotes courses and conferences for young people from inner cities and deprived areas. In Bootle the order also cares for seafarers, most of whom come from developing countries.

Greater Manchester Law Centre is set up to provide access to justice for people in need through the provision of legal advice and representation.

Formal and informal adult education services.

Children who attend Stick 'n' Step all have cerebral palsy and other related motor disorders. They come from across the North West of England and North Wales to access our free conductive education sessions. Conductive Education (CE) is based on the premise that people with motor disorders learn best when teaching is tailored to their specific strengths and needs.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE ANY SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF GREATER MANCHESTER AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SHALL SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND DISTRESS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THE EFFECTS OF HOMELESSNESS.

To provide food, drinks, clothing and a hot shower every day of the year to homeless and disadvantaged people plus advice on housing, debt, jobs, health( with a nurse available 2 days a week and a doctor 2 days a week) and drugs and alcohol and classes in English, Maths, IT and art. To provide advocacy on benefit and housing appeals. To promote health, safety and confidence building.

The principal activity of the African Caribbean Care Group is to promote the welfare of older people of African Caribbean descent, in Manchester, Trafford and neighbouring districts, by providing care services, advancing education and promoting the physical, social and mental health of the beneficiaries.
