PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF COMMUNITY CENTRE AND PLAYING FIELDS

We employ Parish Nurses who offer holistic (including spiritual) care. They refer clients to other agencies where appropriate, make health assessments, give advice, provide advocacy, offer support in times of illness and stress, and help people make sense of medical information. We also provide post-operative care, bereavement support, leg care and chair-based exercise classes run by volunteers.

Relief of financial hardship to Felixstowe Residents through grants and services, to help local charities, and/or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. To also assist Beneficiaries in financial hardship to pursue educational opportunities that they might not otherwise be able to afford.

Amateur Theatre

To raise money for the benefit of patients and their families on Somersham Ward (Cancer Ward) and oncology clinics at Ipswich Hospital.

WE PROVIDE - 1. A CAR SERVICE FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO UNDERTAKE A JOURNEY FOR WHICH THERE IS NO FAMILY CAR OR SUITABLE PUBLIC TRANSPORT; 2. A BEFRIENDERS SERVICE TO HELP ISOLATED AND HOUSEBOUND WITH A VARIETY OF SERVICES - SHOPPING,DOG WALKING, VISITING AND GENERAL SOCIAL CONTACT; 3. LUNCH CLUB TO BENEFIT THE ELDERLY, DISABLED OR ISOLATED / HOUSEBOUND BY PROVIDING REGULAR SOCIAL ACTIVITY

We are an amateur group in our community that put on plays, musicals and concerts.

The main objectives are to promote Christian faith and to do charitable works such as financial aids and social counselling to the people in need.Activities of the Church include conducting regular worship, providing religious education and training and giving financial support to people in need.The Church is run by volunteers who are not entitled to remuneration except the Pastoral allowance.

A heritage centre that serves the local community as a social hub along side an education centre and museum which is a custodian of the relics and records of ancient and modern Dunwich, serving to educate and entertain the general public and the local community alike.

Village Hall activities.

Predominantly organising an Open Gardens weekend on an annual basis in Walsham le Willows (Village) to provide funds for the charity's purposes which are to provide financial assistance in the Village together with some other small Viillage fundraising activities for similar purposes

The 1st & 3rd Stowmarket (Phoenix) Scout Group is part of the Scout Association and belongs to the Stowmarket District in the Suffolk County. Providing Scouting activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, along with support for a District Explorer Unit as per the Scout Association guidelines. With Scouting activities it also enables and supports residential experiences, events and fundraising.

Maintaining and running of Village Hall for hiring out to public and use by regular village groups. To promote new activities where possible.

Running a Community Centre / Village Hall

Independent Christian Church serving the local community of the Horringer Court Estates, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Also relieves sickness and hardship and provides facilities for social welfare and recreation within the local community

Village Hall Community Building

The purposes for a sports and recreation ground, Community Centre and Village Hall or any of them for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Brandon

We are an amateur theatre group performing musical theatre productions.

The provision of the Village Halls, Recreation Ground, Playground and MUGA (Multi use Games Area) for the benefit of the Village.

Presentation of musical theatre shows and concerts. Participation in local music-making activities. Presentation of educational events relating to musical theatre such as sight-reading, music theory, singing technique, stagecraft etc. Support for local people wishing to undertake musical activities. Encouragement of younger people wishing to undertake musical activities.

The Charity carries out a full range of normal Church activities, Sunday Meeting, Bible Study Groups, Prayer meetings. mission support etc.In addition to this the charity operates a Lunch Club & Community Cafe, Walking group and a Craft group. The charity also hosts and makes its building and resources available for various community and group events.

Village Hall

We continue to develop young people in the Beavers; Cubs and Scouts engaging them in various activities e.g. Archery; Shooting; Camping etc. Competing in competitions with other groups in the Waveney area.

Operation and management of Pakenham Village Hall and the Pakenham village playing fields including the children's play area.
