As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 5th Beccles Scout Group give young people of Beccles the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Support of students in higher education by way of a bursary for the purchase of educational books and equipment which is paid termly.

We raise money to support the treatment and care of people with digestive disorders who live in Suffolk, primarily in the Ipswich area. Money is raised by fund raising activities in the community and used to support the gastroenterology (medical/surgical) department of the Ipswich Hospital including with the purchase of equipment, staff training and out reach services.

General hiring of hall for meetingsfor Village organisations : WI, Brownies, Parish Council Meetings, Horticultural Society, Birthday Parties, Jumble Sales, Dances, etc.

The provision of facilities for persons with learning and physical difficulties within the Clacton on Sea, Frinton on Sea, Walton on the Naze and surrounding area. A social club is operated for people with learning difficulties on a weekly basis and other specialist events are provided on a regular basis. Special parties and trips are also arranged as and when required.

The maintenance, repair, restoration and preservation of the church of St Bartholomew's Orford, its monuments, fixtures, fittings, ornaments, organs, other chattels and its churchyard.

Junior Young Farmers Club

The charity maintains the village hall and playing fields in Stansfield, Suffolk and runs events, classes, courses and activities for the benefit of the inhabitants of the village and immediate vicinity.

Provides and manages a hall and recreation ground for the use of local residents in Weston Colville Cambs.

Manage and maintain Stoke Ash Village Hall for its use by all the Parishioners in the Parish of Stoke Ash.
