CHARITY FUND RAISING WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF THE INTERNATIONAL ROTARY ORGANISATION

Our Primary purpose is to create a space in which members can meet to work on individual or community projects for the betterment of the local community; whilst forming connections and offering peer support to one another, shoulder to shoulder.

Community Brass Band

Fundraising activities for school equipment.

Exchange 2 is a local charity providing drop-in and evening facilities for the youth of Harleston Norfolk and the surrounding villages. The aim is to provide a safe and secure environment for young people aged 12-19 years manned by a youth worker and volunteers in order to nurture and develop social and life skills, and an understanding of their ability to contribute to society

Maritime talks, exhibitions and allied charitable activities in Ipswich and Suffolk

Furthering gospel work by supporting Brethren evangelists in the UK and elsewhere, purchasing and distributing the Bible and other Christian literature, and other related Christian outreach work.

Fundraise for school equipment

The management of Newton Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Newton and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions and in particular for use for meetings, lecture and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The trustees manage and administer the charity so as to fulfil its 2 objects as set out in the Scheme dated 4 December 2002, applying the charity's income to further these objects. The area of operation, or benefit, is the parish of Kersey and the surrounding area in the county of Suffolk.

To enchance pupils education by fundraising for projects and activites that are above and beyond the school budget

The Hall is focal to village life. Many clubs meet there, there are village hall committee functions, village fetes, private parties, the grounds are used by various clubs, there is a tennis court and new children's playground.

We hold two events, Guy Carnival, and Rudolph collection, the profit from all the events is given to Rotary and local charities

Providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or carriage drive to benefit their health and well being in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.

The Lavenham Sinfonia performs four concerts each year, the players being professional, semi-professional or amateur. Concerts are usually held in Lavenham Church, which has excellent disabled access. Under 16s are free for the Church concerts.

Promotion of the education and training of psychotherapists living or working in East Anglia and promotion of a lecture programme and courses in East Anglia dealing with all aspects of psychotherapy

Provision and management of a cemetery to be used for persons who are resident in the Parish of Kesgrave immediately prior to the time of their death, or who would have qualified under this condition but for admittance into residential or nursing care prior to their death, also for persons who from time to time have regularly attended Kesgrave All Saints' Church in the years preceding their death.

Sport and Recreation for use of the two villages

Anglian Community Trust is a charity that provides funding to support community and charity projects, through one-off funding.Its aims are:To promote and protect the social, mental and physical health, welfare and wellbeing of people in the community of North East Essex and surrounding areas. It will also fundraise with local community and/or charitable groups and accept donations.

The charity is involved in a number of fundraising activities to support our grants process to children and their families affected by a brain tumour or brain cancer

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts.

The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall for the inhabitants of the Parish of Barton Mills and the neighbourhood, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Halesworth Community Sport and Leisure

We hold various fundraising events throughout the year including Summer and Winter Fayres, Cake Sales, Clothes Collections and other fundraising activities. With the funds raised we help to advance the education of the pupils in the school by providing and assisting in the provision of such facilities or items which are not provided from statutory funds.
