The Norwich Astronomical Society has two aims; to provide facilities for those who wish to study and enjoy the night sky and to educate the public in astronomy and other space related subjects. The Society achieves this by encouraging membership from all walks of life and by running public lectures and observing sessions throughout the year.

Our Victorian Old School Village Hall, in a village of 350, is used for fund raising events for the Church, quiz evenings, coffee mornings etc. Rapper and folk music and Morris Dancers use the hall it is is also hired out for private parties.Regular Wednesday morning Coffee, Cake and Chat and an internet cafe with instruction.

Provides grant aid to St. Mary's Church, Ufford, Woodbridge, Suffolk for the maintenance of the Church Fabric.

We provide for the advancement of education for older people and those retired from full time work, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development. To do this we provide a base which enables members to share educational, creative and leisure activities by forming interest groups run and taught by themselves with no distinction between teachers and learners.

In East Suffolk area we provide grants to the Summer Theatres in Southwold and Aldeburgh, together with bursariesfor students of the performing arts. These bursaries are awarded annually,are advertised locally and all applicationsare considered on merit by the trustees

Environmental group helping to conserve, maintain, and improve the rivers Lark and Linnet, and their riparian areas in Bury St Edmunds

Friends of Morland supports Morland C of E Primary in advancing the education of pupils through developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. Also by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

TO PROVIDE YAXLEY AND THE SURROUNDING VILLAGES WITH A VENUE FOR PRIVATE HIRE AND COMMUNITY EVENTS.THE CHARITY RAISES MONEY THROUGH THE HIRE OF THE HALL TO MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THE BUILDINGS CONDITION AND FACILITIES.FOCUS IS ON COMMUNITY EVENTS TO BRING THE LOCAL RURAL COMMUNITY CLOSER.

Scouts Cubs Beavers , to provide a balanced programme including activities for the young people to promote respect, understanding, and religion also to have fun.

Making grants for the preservation of St Andrews Church, Walberswick and its adjoining ruins and churchyard

To practice music of varied genre & to perform this in concerts at various venues throughout Norfolk & Suffolk.

We hire out the hall to local residents and organisations. We organise the fete and harvest supper with the local church. We run quiz nights. We have jumble sales. We are constantly trying to find new activities to appeal to local residents.

Supporting partnership and co-operation across libraries and information services in the East Midlands.

Our aim is to support deaf children, their families and those actively involved in the welfare of children with all ranges of hearing loss. We will ensure children are supported in their home environment and in their social interactions.We will organise regular events that are inclusive for children with hearing loss to maintain friendships and provide families with a peer group.
