The charity manages four almshouses.

Christmas & Summer Fetes, Easter and Christmas Drawers, School Discos, Sponsered events.

The objects of The Charity are for the public benefit to advance the education of pupils at Ipswich High School, in particular but not exclusively by providing bursaries and scholarships for education at the school.

Provide disabled people opportunities to participate in carriage driving. Clients drive carriages under guidance from able-bodied whips in dual controlled carriages specially modified for use with disabled people, some in wheelchairs and some not.

Provision and upkeep of rural village hall for use of local and wider community.

The charity supports the education of pupils and former pupils (under the age of 25) of Thomas Mills High School, a state comprehensive school in Framlingham, Suffolk. It does this in a number of ways: by awarding an annual prize; by supporting former pupils who are currently medical students; by providing assistance with the cost of travel for educational purposes and for connected purposes.

Provision and Maintenance of Village Hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit.

Elmswell School PTA help to raise funds to provide for extra equipment that the school requires.

The objects of the Long Melford Community Sports Trust is to promote and develop sports and recreation facilities and opportunities in Long Melford for people of all ages and abilities

Provision of housing Three Almshouses

Running the Sudbury Heritage Centre and Museum and the Sudbury Museum Trust website at www.sudburysuffolk.co.uk/heritage.

Administration of the former St John's Infant School - now known as The Centre - for the public benefit and for educational and recreational purposes

Provides opportunities for local people to participate in the sport of wheelchair basketball, both recreationally and competitively. Provides coaching in ball skills, wheelchair movement and fitness activities.

CHAMBER ORCHESTRA AND SMALL CHAMBER GROUP CONCERTS

The Trust owns Abbots Hall, a number of buildings and some 65 acres of land. All of this was let to the Museum of East Anglian Life(now known as the Food Museum) and included in two 120 year leases date 1/9/2004.The Abbots Hall Trust is concerned with monitoring the two leases to the museum and with liaising with the museum and other bodies where appropriate.

The income of The Charity is to be applied in furtherance of the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Laxfield

Fundraising events to be run at Gusford Primary School, Ipswich such as school discos, summer and Christmas fete, event raffles and other activities. Funds will be used to advance the education and welfare of the pupils in the school by providing resources and activities which support the school

Suffolk Singers is a mixed SATB choir of approximately 34 members operating in Suffolk in the United Kingdom. The choir provides its members with the opportunity to sing choral music to a high standard and to educate and provide pleasure to the public through the provision of public recitals and concerts both within Suffolk and beyond.

Raise funds for the benefit of the Village Hall in the form of low key events to provide income for the maintenance and upkeep of the Village Hall

To provide buildings, land and resources for hire by community groups and private individuals.

Relief in need for village residents.General benefit of village residents.Assistance for those at school, in higher or further education, apprenticeships, courses or other forms of education.Upkeep and repair of the fabric and maintenance of services in St Margaret's Church, Westhorpe.

School PTA group. Raising money for and on behalf of Ickworth Park Primary School.

TO ASSIST PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF STRATFORD ST MARY TO PARTICIPATE IN AND ENJOY THE BENEFITS OF THEIR COMMUNITY, PARTICULARLY THROUGH PROVISION OF RELIEF IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR ATTENDANCE AT OR ENGAGEMENT WITH, EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS; ASSISTANCE IN ACCESSING NEW OR ALTERNATIVE EMPLOYMENT.

SMALL GRANTS MAINLY TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED OF HELP AND OCCASIONALLY TO OTHER CHARITIES TOWARDS A FUNDRAISING PROJECT.

We manage and maintain a village hall, a village green, and some allotments for the benefit of local residents.
