We are a Shed open to all. We currently focus on Woodworking, Modelling, Crafts such as fabric work and Gardening. Although based in Fressingfield, Suffolk we encourage membership from surrounding villages too

The U3A is a member led charity that is focused on participative learning for people in their third age. Most of the educational activities are run in small groups and are run by the members for the members. The structure and content includes seminars, workshops, discussion groups, speaker meetings and activity groups.

The object of the charity are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public appreciation of the arts by the promotion of an annual Woolpit Festival and by such other ways as the charity through its board shall determine from time to time.

The charity's activities are to provide additional resources and activities for the children and school to enhance education and a broader learning.

The Norwich Astronomical Society has two aims; to provide facilities for those who wish to study and enjoy the night sky and to educate the public in astronomy and other space related subjects. The Society achieves this by encouraging membership from all walks of life and by running public lectures and observing sessions throughout the year.

In pursuing our objectives of developing the skills of young people, particularly in an outdoor environment, we help them gain confidence, learning to work together as teams and take their place in society, through a programme of activities typical in traditional Scouting. Our age range is from 6 years old through to adulthood, operating in a rural area south of Newmarket, Suffolk.

Each December the Charity makes individual grants to senior citizens living in Glemsford. However, these grants are subject to the terms and conditions of the Charity. The Charity may also make 'one off' grants to local organisations providing services for people living in Glemsford to help them fund a specific event.
