The objective of the Charity is to raise funds for the maintenance and improvement of the fabric of the Church of St John the Baptist, Snape, and to develop community use of the church. It does this through the organisation of performances and activities in the church and elsewhere in the village of Snape, and by creating a network of Friends who are willing to be involved in raising funds.

The Rotary Club of Stowmarket Gipping Valley offers financial and practical help to people and organisations both locally and internationally. Major current projects include: in Suffolk, free smoke alarms for elderly and vulnerable people; and internationally, Support for Rotary International and loans for small entrepreneurs.

Provides shopping vouchers for over 70's in Hadleigh at christmas. Operates over 60's social club. Organises theatre trips & other coach outings for over 60's.

Wherry Woodturners is a charity located in Norfolk UK, we work with the local community, provide training and guidance to members in the art and skill of woodturning. Our membership ranges from teenagers to people in their eighties. We provide regular demonstrations by professional turners and provide monthly training sessions.

To enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts, and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national & international, in music drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare

Raising funds to support the educational and recreational activities provided for the children of Earl Soham Primary School.

Care and re-homing for stray, injured and unwanted animals. Financial help with vets bills for the elderly and those with limited income. Advice, by telephone, if required.

For the public benefit in Norfolk and Suffolk, the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage and the furtherance of such purposes as are exclusively charitable within the law of England and Wales, including the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare.

Fund raise in order to provide or assist in the provision of equipment, facilities & services for the Princess of Wales Hospital Ely in addition to that provided locally by the statutory authorities

The object of the association is to advance the education of pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Our aim is to raise funds from events to provide facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

According to the terms of the Trust Deed one half of the income of the Bacton Charities is allocated for upkeep of the St. Mary's Church, Bacton and the other half is allocated to a number of areas including the relief of poverty, general charitable purposes, education and training and other areas including sickness and disablility within the parish.

The preservation and maintenance of the building and churchyard of St Mary, Harkstead, and the maintenance and development of music and other aspects of the worship and life of the church.

Musical performances in buildings of historic interest, mainly in East Anglia, with an emphasis in encouraging and including young talented music students.

Promote the participation of amateur players in classical music by performing 3 classical concerts a year to the public in Waveney District, usually at Trinity Methodist Church, Lowestoft. Each concert has a different musical repertoire, and requires participation at rehearsals on the two weekends prior to the concert. Concerts and rehearsals are conducted by a professional conductor.

To conserve and manage the ruins of the Scheduled Ancient Monument known as Greyfriars Monastery at Dunwich in Suffolk, and the adjacent woodland known as Greyfriars Wood, for the benefit of the people of Dunwich and for the nation.

To carry on both material and archival activities which benefit the community, To provide a place for local people to meet. To establish and maintain a museum of local technology

AN ANNUAL FUEL GRANT IS PAID TO ELDERLY OR DISABLED RESIDENTS OF PAKENHAM (SUFFOLK) OR THOSE OTHERWISE IN FINANCIAL NEED. SMALL ONE-OFF GRANTS ARE ALSO MADE TO RESIDENTS FOR PARTICULAR NEEDS, EG FOR THE EXTRA EXPENSES ARISING FROM DISABILITY OR ILLNESS. GRANTS ARE MADE TO LOCAL ORGANISATIONS WHICH BENEFIT PAKENHAM RESIDENTS. DUE REGARD IS PAID TO THE COMMISSION'S GUIDANCE ON PUBLIC BENEFIT.
