We offer breakfast and out of school care in 6 local schools in Gateshead as well as providing holiday care at rural Lamesley. Approximately 300 children per day use our provisions per day.

The principal activity of the charity is supplying furniture and household goods to those most in need in the North East of England, in particular to people in Sunderland. The charity participates in charitable projects for the relief of elderly or disabled and vulnerable people in the same area. We promote reuse and recycling as a means of waste disposal and we provide recycling activities.

Sunderland Mind strive to provide quality mental health services for all, treating those experiencing mental illness fairly, positively, with respect and dignity. We provide support, information, advice on a range of activities, groups including counselling.Individuals accessing our service are the driving force behind our organisation and our aim is to improve their quality of life where possible

The charity's principal activity during the period was to provide support and assistance to people who have suffered or are suffering from all forms of cancer by such means as the trustees consider fit.

To assist distressed masons and their dependants and provide assistance to local charities.

PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING MENTORING, ADVOCACY, ONE TO ONE SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS ESPECIALLY THOSE MOST VULNERABLE . VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE EMPLOYABILITY, AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS, HOLIDAY PROVISION, JOB SEEKING ASSISTANCE, GUIDANCE. ALSO WE HAVE A WELFARE BENEFITS AND MONEY ADVICE PROJECT FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.

The objects of the centre are: to promote the benefit of the community in the City of Sunderland, primarily the Bangladeshi and other BME communities and especially those suffering from the effects of unemployment and other forms of social deprivationto promote and provide facilities in the intereset of social welfare in the fields of recreation, leisure, education,self help and otherwise.

TYNESIDE VINEYARD IS A CHRISTIAN CHURCH THAT SERVES THE TYNESIDE REGION OF THE UK. THE CHURCH MEETS WEEKLY ON A SUNDAY MORNING AS WELL AS IN SMALL GROUPS AND THROUGH VARIOUS OTHER EVENTS! TYNESIDE VINEYARD HAS A PASSION TO MEET THE PRACTICAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN THIS AREA THROUGH INITIATIVES SUCH AS STOREHOUSE AND LOVE TYNESIDE. OUR AIM IS TO FIND EVEN MORE WAYS OF BLESSING OUR COMMUNITY.

St George's Church is active in its local community providing for & supporting all who contact us regardless of faith through practical support, counselling, faith based activities and services of worship. Our activities include, but are not limited to, bereavement support, one to one counselling, lunch club, drop ins and community groups, youth & children's work, food bank, community cafe & more

The Trust is governed by its constitution and its main objective is to preserve for the benefit of the public generally and especially for the inhabitants of the County of Tyne and Wear, buildings (including artefacts and land) which are of special historic, architectural, or townscape interest.

Welfare benefits & money advice and support for people suffering crisis, hardship and distress including people experiencing poor mental health, disability, unemployment, young parents, homelessness, domestic violence, addictions and poverty. Volunteering & training, enterprise support & managed workspace. Training for frontline staff and volunteers working with people facing hardship and crisis.

Provision of welfare rights, benefit entitlement and debt advice services. Signposting to services providing specialist advice on housing, employment or legal issues.Education and training courses, collection point for credit union.Community development for the local community and support for local community groups.

The Halo Project supports BME women and families with specialist advocacy by promoting the human rights of women through empowerment, education and specialist intervention programmes including emergency specialist accommodation. Our services, programmes & provision enhances safety & protection through trauma-informed approaches developed through lived experiences, preventing abuse and harm.

To advance the education & training of young people under 25, including those with EHCP. NYA operates an open door policy and welcomes anyone wishing to learn and promote their own employment prospects in the motor vehicle industry. NYA specialises in working with young people who have a poor school record or who may be at risk of offending.

Specialist domestic violence and abuse services, bespoke children, young people and family services and specialist services such as Mediation and Counselling.

Hylton Castle Trust manages Hylton Castle and dene on the local community's behalf. Hylton Castle, currently undergoing refurbishment, will be opening as a community-led heritage centre in the summer of 2019. Hylton Castle Trust will be working with partners to provide work placements and training opportunities for local people.

The purpose of the CIO is to promote the Christian faith through training men for the ministry. We also present public lectures, that are open to all, through a monthly Saturday morning course which aims to provide training to lay members of the wider Church. We are based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne City Centre.

To educate the general public in the arts, especially by enabling members of the public to work alongside artists producing works of high artistic class, and by the fostering and promotion of the participation in the arts within the North East region to address issues of social exclusion.
