Help provide educational resources for Grovelands Primary School, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey

The trust makes grants towards the upkeep, repair, maintenance and improvement of St Nicholas Church, Pyrford, and Wisley Church, both in Surrey.

Making grants as appropriate to individuals who live in the TW15 postcode and are judged by the Trustees to be in need.

We organise fundraising events for the pupils and their families throughout the year, to provide funds for fun educational activities and equipment for the pupils, in addition to the schools curriculum.

Alder Valley Brass is an amateur based brass band. The band aims to promote, teach and practice the performance of brass band music by means of competitions, concerts and by working with other musical groups. These activities enable the band to either directly raise monies for charitable purposes or assist other charitable organisations with their fundraising activities.

To further or benefit the residents of Thorpe and the surrounding area by providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation leisure time with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public events.

Income support

Maintain our guide headquarters - we replaced our roof during 2007 and put in an access ramp in 2011. We have supported all units in their activities with members. As a District we have joined in Rainbow, Brownie and Guide Division and County events.

Fundraises to equip two village playgrounds sited on common land.

Activities include use of the soft play area, crafts and external outings, trips have included an Isle of Wight weekend, Euro Disney, Spain, Lapland UK, Paultons park, Beale park, Legoland. We hold a Christmas party every year where the children receive a visit and presents from father christmas. Easter eggs are also received.

ARRANGING FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR ADDITIONAL SCHOOL EQUIPMENT AND DONATIONS TO LOCAL CHARITIES

Driving clients to hospital, doctors appointments etc, shopping and visiting.

To advance the education of the pupils in the school in particular by; developing effective relationships between the staff parents and others associated with the school; engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of pupils.

To help the old, sick, poor and disabled of Ewhurst and Ellens Green parish

Raising monies from Christmas collections - donations made to local charities and good causes.Raising monies from other events - donations to Rotary Foundation ,specific overseas projects and world disasters.Utilisation of members organisation skills and participation in various projects of a charitable nature.

The further advancement of education of Pupils at Surbiton High School by providing or assisting in the provision of rowing facilities.

THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL

We provide boat trips for disabled children and the elderly, using our specially adapted boat the "Impossible Dream".We can accommodate up to 10 passengers or 3 wheelchair users and up to six others. We currently operate on the River Thames and are based at Shepperton Marina.

The trust was established for the benefit of those with learning difficulties in the Parish of Capel & in the administrative county of Surrey.

Provision of affordable accommodation

LCAS runs classical concerts in Leatherhead and an Outreach project taking music into the town's primary school. Musicians are students of London's celebrated music conservatoires, young professionals, and local musicians of similar standard. This gives local people access to performances of high quality and young musicians experience of preparing a programme and presenting it to an audience.
