FUND RAISING FOR SCHOOL EQUIPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

WE PROVIDE GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS IN FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND ALSO TO LOCAL VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS WHICH PROVIDE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE IN THE CIVIL PARISH OF SHERE, SURREY.

Fundraising for The Hermitage Infant and Junior Schools for new equipment etc.

Weekly rehearsals of choral singing through most of each year. Public performances of a wide range of choral works in the East Berkshire, Northwest Surrey and Northeast Hampshire area. Typically about 4 or 5 perfomances are given each year.

The Surrey Heath Borough Council Mayor's Charity is constituted by deed of trust and is a registered charity no. 1053311. The object of the charity is such general charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants of Surrey Heath and immediately surrounding areas as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit.

To advance the education of children and young people by providing free supplementary educational lessons in Science, Technology, English and Maths.Providing emergency food, essential toiletries and household items to individuals and families in need and/or for distribution by charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

FUNDING EXPENSES FOR CLERGY ASSOCIATED WITH ST MARTINS CHURCH DORKING

As parents and carers of children in the school; we raise funds through activities such as Christmas and summer fairs, quiz nights, school discos and a sponsored walk. We use the funds to purchase items for Meath Green Infant School for the benefit of the pupils. We also use the funds to enhance the children's education by providing experiences such as educational workshops.

The trust provides small grants to organisations helping young people to obtain the skills they need for both work & life. Principal donations are currently directed to organisations in Surrey & North Hampshire focussed on providing practical training, skills & support where the education system is not enabling young people to reach their full potential.

Supporting the advancement of the Buddhist religion through a programme of classes and events, both for regular members of our group as well as for newcomers from the local community and others, the Triratna West Kent Buddhist Group provides an understanding of Buddhism.

The Friends are parents and carers of Langshott children who work together to raise funds to enhance the school experience of the children. Our aims are to raise and spend money to enhance the learning in the school and encourage a sociable, friendly atmosphere amongst everyone associated with Langshott. The main fund raising events each year are the Christmas Fair and Summer Fun Day.

The society provides a programme of information, talks and visits on a variety of subjects which will be of interest to both current and ex residents of Petworth and surrounding villages.

Christian activity evangelism

Monthly lectures on natural history, physical sciences, local history and archeaology. Monthly walks and / or outings to places relevant to the Club's interests, mainly in the Reigate / Redhill area in particular and east Surrey in general. Research by members and non-members. Care of our Museum and library.

The purpose of the Windlesham Community Home Trust (WCHT) is to provide help for elderly residents of Windlesham and its environs. This will be achieved through the provision of housing with appropriate adaptations.

Runs a Scout Group in Cheam, Surrey

(1) to provide facilities to enable disabled people to partake in various forms of winter sports;(2) to train, so that disabled people may acquire the skill so to participate;(3) to provide financial assistance to enable disabled people to participate in all the activities of the Charity or of its Affiliate Members;(4) to do all such things as will further the above objects.

Provision of accommodation for a retired clergyman, educational support, and provision of meeting place for church activities

The Bell Restoration Fund provides financial assistance to churches in and around the county of Middlesex and the Diocese of London for the purpose of restoring and improving their bell installations. This includes the repair, replacement re-tuning and re-hanging of bells; the provision of additional bells, frames and fittings and the erection of the same in churches; and installing sound control.

The society exists to promote the study and enjoyment of choral music for performance in the Guildford area of Surrey. Our ranks are open to all ages. Through our choice of repertoire we aim to extend the knowledge of the best choral tradition for the benefit of performers and audiences alike. Certain performances may be dedicated to selected local charities.
