TO HELP AND SUPPORT THE SCOUT GROUPS WITHIN THE DISTRICT AREA OF HASLEMERE BOTH FINANCIALLY AND ADMINISTRATIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICIES OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION.

To help young people develop their potential in four areas: Physical, Social, Spiritual and Intellectual. The objective of Scouting is to help its members grow as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as part of their local, national and international communities.

School PTA which organises events for the parents,children,friends and staff etc to raise monies for the benefit of the school and its pupils by purchasing equipment etc.

Supporting Woolmer Hill School, Haslemere, Surrey by making grants for the acquisition of equipment and the improvement of facilities which facilitate teaching/learning by staff and students and which ensure that staff and students are better equipped to use modern teaching/learning techniques. The enhanced facilities will also benefit the local community when they visit and make use of them.

Fund Raising Events in the Community

The advancement of religion in the parish of St. Mary's, West Horsley and elsewhere.

By making grants to the The Parochial Church council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Frensham, Friends of Frensham Churches supports the upkeep of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Frensham and The Church of the Good Shepherd, Dockenfield. By communications to its membership regarding current and future funding requirements for the two churches.By organising fundraising events to raise fund

Friends of Sherwood Park hold fundraising events such as fetes, disco's, quiz nights, sponsored events and the like, with the aim of providing necessary equipment, chairs, changing tables, playground, upkeep of the buses, Christmas presents for the pupils etc. Without the fundraising many of these things the school cannot afford, even though they are essential.

The Charity's principal aim is the presentation of choral works in public. There were two concerts in the 2014-5 season, Mendelsshon's 'Elijah' in autumn 2014 and 'Requiem' by Brahms, together with 'Five Mystical Songs' by Vaughan Williams in spring 2015. Both concerts were popular and attracted good audiences. In December 2014 an annual carol concert was performed at a local residential home.

The object of the Association is to support the education of pupils in Woldingham School, to promote effective contact between parents, staff and pupils and to channel the goodwill of parents wishing to assist the School.

Providing free-of-charge football to children through a network of Little Leagues. Forming links with other agencies and football/sports clubs in order to develop volunteers' skills and promote childrens football. Forming links with local communities to promote childrens football and raise funds.

Raising money for school projects through sponsored activities, social nights, holding fairs and sales.

Production of audio and 'visual communications tools' for other charitable organisations and Media Matters productions for education, Christian training purposes and advocacy issues.We work internationally.

To support the activities and aims of Bramley c of e (aided) infant school, it's staff, pupils, parents and the wider school community

The Society promotes and encourages the study of local history; it owns and manages the Leatherhead Museum, it maintains / curates artefacts for local parishes; and maintains the local history archives and records. It publishes historical materials; holds talks on local history; and encourages the preservation of buildings and sites of archaeological or historical interest in the district.

Black Park Shed is located in Black Park, near Slough in Buckinghamshire. We operate a woodworking facility with the aim of reducing social exclusion in older adults by promoting the opportunity for friendships, social engagement and skillsharing in a safe and enjoyable environment. We also promote good health and wellbeing through participation and periodic circulation of health information.

Education - Infant

The charity caters for orphaned children and vulnerable children in the village of Igoji, Meru, Kenya. We provide shelter, clothing, healthcare, education and support in interventions that help children make sense of their past, so that they are able to move on to a future where they can achieve positive outcomes.

The trustees prefer a policy of making donations to smaller charities in Surrey where a donation of about £1,000 would make a difference to the charitable organisation. They also prefer to give donations to those charities that have a proven record with ongoing financial needs.

Mindful Surrey was established in 2020 to ensure that mindfulness training is available to everyone throughout the UK, regardless of circumstances. They run mindfulness courses, online and in-person, enabling people to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing. Support is offered to adults and children, with free sessions for people on low incomes, state schools and community groups.
