The Charity's purpose is to help students under the age of 25 whose home is in the area of benefit and who are in need of financial assistance to meet the costs of their further and/or vocational education including social and physical training.

The Dempster Trust assists financially individual persons resident in Farnham, those who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, by making one off grants of money, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

The charity holds a number of fundraising events to raise money for improved learning facilities within St Alban's primary School.

We provide support for parents experiencing post natal depression through free weekly support groups, currently in London, Surrey and West Sussex. We will campaign for more support to be provided to such families across the UK.

We organise fundraising events to help raise funds which can be spent on extras the school is unable to buy and which will benefit the children. Activities organised include Fireworks night, Christmas Fair, Easter Egg hunt, Family Quiz and Summer Fair. The funds pay for visiting Samba band and a history workshops, sports equipment, music lessons, curriculum topics props and items.

Support efforts to enhance opportunities offered to all pupils in the school. This is done by encouraging donations to fund projects which do not form the "core" of pupils' education experience

General charitable activities

The purpose of the Haslemere Preparatory School Parents' and Teachers' association is to advance the education of pupils in the school by, developing relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and undertaking activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils.

Gives money to a list of regular beneficiaries within the Ancient Parish of Abinger in the form of vouchers at Christmas and mid year. Also gives one off financial assistance to households at a time of specific need usually arising from a change of circumstances such as unemployment, bereavement or chronic illness. From time to time we also give to other local charities.

We are a church committee to reach out to the needy, the broken-hearted, the lonely and the depressed by showing them God's unconditional love and giving them a hope in Christ. We support the elderly, children, young people, the disabled and prisoners financially and emotionally both in the UK and abroad.

Responsible for organising annual village fair and other income generating activities in Blackheath Village, Surrey. Any surplus is used to donate to local organisations.

Music. Rehearsal and performance of live orchestral music with local amateur musicians to local audiences.

WE SEEK TO EDUCATE OUR MEMBERS WITH SPEAKERS, DEMONSTRATIONS AND VISITS WITH AN EDUCATIONAL SLANT.

We didn't have many activities during 2020 due to the Pandemic when we couldn't have face to face meetings. However, Scouts had a very active Zoom meetings In early part of year, Beavers celebrated Chinese new year, had a night hike and cooked pancakes. Cubs visited a synagogue, made pancakes, visited a Fire station and some went to the Science Museum. Scouts went ice skating, had a Winter camp

The Chapel has been completely renovated with significant help from the National Lottery. A permanent exhibition has been designed to tell the history of the original barracks,non conformist religion and Charlwood. The building is open to the public on certain days.
