Amateur Dramatics

Our Charity, based in Woking, Surrey, is called Lets Read Ltd.We are passionate about literacy and wish to make a difference to the lives of young people who struggle to read. We aim to make a real difference by helping to improve their reading skill and providing free books. We believe the lack of basic literacy skills perpetuates the cycle of disadvantage and deprivation in our community.

In pursuance of the Christian faith, Weybourne Community Church holds Sunday services, midweek gatherings for worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship, to which non-members are welcome to attend. The church provides financial support to local, national and international Christian ministries, charities and individuals.

__The object of the charity is to provide financial support to those who paticipate in Association Football as members of Clubs affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association Ltd.

Interest from investments enables donations and grants to approved causes

Promote practice and performance of Brass Band music by means of concerts and other public performances and to assist other charitable institutions. To teach members of all ages to play brass instruments.

Based upon the Girlguiding UK Brownie programme we encourage young girls to have fun, give them opportunities to make decisions, give them skills appropriate to their age and give them the opportunity to go away on Pack Holiday.

Management of Scout and Guide HQ building

Ascot Shed is a community workshop space offering locals the opportunity to engage in practical activities, learn and practise skills, share their expertise & experience, and socialise with like-minded people.Donated machinery, tools and materials are used to improve the facilities and expand our capabilities. Funding covers legal costs and buys new equipment, spare parts and consumables.

We provide women with educational opportunities, a chance to build new skills and to take part in a wide variety of activities. We also campaign on issues that matter to us & our community.

Friends of Dorking Nursery School organises fundraising activities to support Dorking Nursery School.

Promotion of efficiency of units of TA and ACF in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, and welfare support to serving and ex-members of them and their dependants.

We hold public talks on astronomy and related subjects in Central Croydon approximately every two weeks during school term time. We also maintain an observatory located at Kenley, and aim to open this for public outreach each Saturday evening (provided there is a sufficiently dark and clear sky), and also for pre-arranged group visits (eg Scout association) midweek.

Scouting.Promotion of the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Raising much needed funds for items not able to be provided by the LEA

The Objectives of the church are to advance the christian religion for the public benefit in accordance with the doctrines of our Lord Jesus Christ, through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, evangelism, distributing of literature and tracts. The relief of poverty by such charitable means as the trustees consider appropriate.

The object of the Society is to educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts, and in particular the Savoy operas, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts, to assist and further such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the Committee shall from time to time determine.

The WVA is a Residents' Association serving the residents of the local authority Ward of Westcott in Surrey, England; it operates in the same way as a Parish Council in seeking and representing the views of Residents, but in addition has charitable objects which are set out in its Constitution.These objectives are exercised exclusively for the public benefit.

LDIS provides religious and welfare services to the local community in Leatherhead District and surroundings, This is happening few years now and now formalised into LDIS.

The purpose of the charity is to preserve and manage an area of undeveloped land in the residential area of Woodcote, Epsom, Surrey. The charity is run and funded by local people in order to provide an area of land suitable for a variety of recreational uses, community events and the preservation of wildlife.
