Help and support for homeless youth in the UK and in Uganda. Practical help is given by volunteers to individuals and families with children under immediate threat of homelessness. Grants and/or loans may be made and the Charity currently provides financial support for a children's home in southern Uganda with approx. 30 residents.

Premises used for local groups these include local groups disabled, religious, children. Community groups, inc ethnic groups and social groups for entertainment and meetings.

ASSISTING PERSONS IN NEED OF HELP WITH THE WELFARE OF THEIR PETS, IN THE MAIN THE ELDERLY, UNEMPLOYED OR DISABLED. ALSO ASSISTING WITH HOMELESS ANIMALS. PETS IN CRISIS AND WILDLIFE.

A members` meeting each month except August. 8 speakers on information topics. Supported the Village Hall with a donation, ran the cake stall at the West Horsley Fete, provided help at Christmas for women with mental health problems living in a local sheltered accommodation. Organised walks for members, family & friends, a craft group, bridge club.

Our aim is to advance the musical education of local young people and selected adults (with an open membership) by training them in the playing of musical instruments and movement (dance) for performances, exhibitions and in competition. We are 100% non-profit making, and any funds raised by groups members, staff and Trustees are used exclusively to further the groups activities.

The aim of the trust is to help rescue and promote Surrey's history. By subscribing you will help raise funds to secure the purchase and conservation of collections. Volunteers are always welcome to assist in projects.

Women's Institute, Leigh Village

Keep a watching brief on Planning issues affecting the life of the village, and make representations where appropriate.Promotion of village-based activities to strengthen the local community.Organise village social events including newcomers' evening, and summer social.

Townswomens Guild offer women a common meeting ground to all who wish to broaden their knowledge and experience of life regardless of politics, race, age, religion or circumstances. They provide an opportunity to share mutual interests and increase the influence of women through a progressive national organisation concerned with fundamental issues of the community.

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO PARISHIONERS OF THE ORIGINAL CIVIL PARISH OF FRENSHAM WHO HAVE FINANCIAL DISTRESS.

The Trustees shall apply on an international basis the income and capital of the Trust for the following charitable purposes - Environment, Social Inclusion, Education & the Arts and Relief for Refugees & those in need. This will be achieved bythe awarding of grants to appropriate organisations operating within the above areas and the subsequent monitoring of the impact the grants have made.

Primarily the provision and maintenance of places of Christian worship, fellowship and outreach; and secondarily the support of those engaged in Christian ministry and evangelisation. The Whytecliffe Trust also sometimes engages in other activities incidental to the foregoing, e.g. Christian publications. The Charity operates mainly in the Croydon area.

Friday Swimmers is a private swimming club for physically disabled and post-operative patients, which is run entirely by volunteers.

We provide football opportunities to young adults, who have learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities.We enter 3 teams in the Surrey FA 'Football-For-All' league and we provide training opportunities at least twice a month.In addition we arrange friendly football matches, football fun days and football tours.We operate in the Surrey area, but we accept any player from anywhere.
