BASIL operates in the Guildford area of Surrey and supports the management team staffing The Surrey County Council (SCC) group homes at Mallow Crescent and associated properties. We are a group of parents, siblings and carers of People with a Learning Disabilities PwLD). We fund raise and lobby SCC re issues concerning the welfare of the PwLD.

The warlingham PTA supports activities in the school like parent teachers evening, music concerts or put on events like the Warlstock Music Festival to help raise funds for the school community.

The Club runs twice-weekly bridge sessions open to all. The game provides both social interaction and mental stimulation, which are both important to individual well-being. The Club is proactive in promoting the game generally and through provision of training sessions for people wanting to learn the game/improve.

EDUCATIONAL TRUST

Friends of St John's Merrow undertakes a range of cultural and information events for the purposes of fund raising for the defined projects and objectives of the Charity.

The Friends of Strathmore School (FOSS) works to help the special needs pupils, many severely disabled, at The Strathmore School in Petersham.FOSS raises funds to help fund education ressources , hold social events and assists the staff to enrich the children's quality education and leisure.FOSS also has the role of a Parent/Teacher Association.

distribtion of annual grant in accordance with the Charity,s guidelines. Our small charityhas provided funds to finance a specialist teacher to provide special edcation for vulnerable children. The work includes the provision of projects to address gaps in their learning, as well as emotional support for those suffering from stressful home environments, such as financial hardship.

Assist the work of Holy Trinity Church Redhill for the advancement of the Christian religion.Provide Training Grants to the Clergy and the Congregation at retreats and camps.Apply monies specified by the donor for the Churches charitable organisations.

To relieve persons suffering injury or illness in the area covered by the South East Coast Ambulance Service by the provision of emergency medical care.

Fundraising for school

To support the repair and restoration of St Mary's Church Oxted, and any buildings situated within the curtilage of the church including the hall, and the construction of any buildings within the curtilage.The Oxted community hall appeal committee was been formed to manage the project and raise funds for a new community hall. This appeal has now been wound up as it has achieved its objective.
