Utilisation of funds to the poor of Haslemere by distribution through Haslemere United Charities

The Making Place specialises in running hands on science activities, exploring scientific principles through design. Children and adults alike experience science through practical hands-on, brains on learning. Participants are encouraged to work with scientific or technological ideas to design and make a product to take away. This includes workshops in schools, outreach and advice to others.

Advance education of women irrespective of race, creed and party to enable them to make the best contribution towards the common good. Educate such women in the principles of good citizenship. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for such women in the interests of social welfare and with a view to improving their conditions of life.
