The Association strives to provide high quality services to physically disabled people in Surrey, their families, professionals and others concerned with disability by providing the following: self-catering holiday chalet and bungalows, disability equipment showroom, mail order catalogue and equipment loan.

Countryside Protection

raising funds to enable construction of a safe environment for children with special needs to interact in, and provide support for these children and their families.

To provide a support club for people in and around Esher who are recovering from a stroke. Weekly meetings with various activities and an opportunity to meet similarly affected people and form a support network.

As the Management Group for the meeting place of the Local Guiding and Scouting Groups the Group's aim is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential.

We offer financial support to the sick or needy in the parishes of St Hilda's and St Matthew's Churches in Ashford Middlesex. This covers all age groups and cases are referred to us by Spelthorne Social Services, local doctors and churches. In the past we assisted people with mobility equipment, rent arrears, white goods and job retraining following serious illness.

Recreation fields

The charity makes small cash grants to individuals thought to be in the greatest financial need and usually does this at the Christmas season. Benefit is restricted to persons resident in Windlesham and Valley End, Chobham.

Spelthorne Breastfeeding Friends is a community group that has been established to contribute to the promotion, protection and continuation of breastfeeding within the Borough of Spelthorne by providing peer support to women and their supporters primarily around the feeding of their babies as well as other practical support, with increased activity in targeted areas to address health inequalities.

Grants to members of Quaker meetings who are undertaking futher education or training to equip them for work.

To enhance the education and facilities of the pupils of Trumps Green Infant School

The aim of the Charity is to restore a forgotten cemetery in Epsom Surrey in which up to 9000 people were buried between 1899 and 1955. The charity will also undertake research into and education about the lives of those buried there - seek to trace relatives and descendants and promote a Book of Remembrance containing all the names.

Provides a fixed annual sum for help on maintenance costs for Charlwood Chapel.

The provision of financial assistance towards the education of young men and women who wish to train for the URC ministry or as missionaries or courses of instruction for work in Christian missions or sunday schools.

Hosting fundraising events incorporating physical activities aimed at enhancing mental well-being. These events serve to generate funds for our email support service and facilitate access to therapeutic interventions.

To promote and organise recreational and social activities for visually impaired adults in Epsom, Surrey and the surrounding areas.

Send recorded memory sticks of local news to visually handicapped in the Guildford and Waverley areas on weekly basis.

The objects of the Association shall be to advance the education of the public in the study of the art of music with special reference to liturgical and organ music and the pipe and electronic organs and their construction and use.

Providing Christmas grants, where needed, to those of 65 and over or to families with children, who live in the parish of Esher.

We produce a modest income from local fetes, open days and a gift aid scheme. The proceeds are used to provide "extra" items such as gifts and outside trips for the residents of a home for people with learning disabilities, which are not provided by local authority grants.
