The mission of the orchestra is give the playing member the opportunity to learn and engage with great pieces of music, develop their musical and personal skills as a collective group to perform these works, create performances that will entertain and educate the public, and encourage and inspire young players and performing artists.

The charity maintains six almshouses in Englefield Green, Egham, Surrey. The houses are made available to elderly married couples, or single persons if no qualifying couple can be found, who meet criteria laid down in the Scheme of the Charity Commissioners made in 1994. Maintenance fees are charged at a level to cover long-term average costs of keeping the houses in good condition.

We support residents living within our boundaries, which are Chertsey, Addlestone, Ottershaw, and Lyne. We can provide transport to medical appointments, local day centres and also assist with shopping and the collection of prescriptions

Churt Village Hall is run and maintained to provide a focus for the local community to meet its social and recreational needs. A variety of activities are undertaken principally by and for the benefit of members of the village. However, the Hall is open to and embraces wider usage from the surrounding populace and elsewhere.

To promote social inclusion for people aged 8 - 24 using powerful unmounted horse based interventions with specially trained horses.Professional referrals from : schools, CAMHS, Social Workers, Specialist Agencies, Domestic Violence, Drug & Alcohol for those suffering from a variety of challenges e.g Mental Health - especially anxiety, school exclusion, ADHD, neglect & abuse, victims of crime etc

Supporting the work of Godalming United Church, and supporting specific development activities in The Gambia, Sierra Leone and Uganda. This includes the collection and shipping of surplus secondhand school furniture from UK schools being renewed & replaced for use in schools in The Gambia and Sierra Leone.
