Ostomy Mates, the operating name of Swindon IA, provides support and advice for ostomists and their families by way of social events, meetings, specialist magazines (both national and regional), local newsletters and our own website. We also work with our local health professionals to help them to help us.

To award students of good character and perseverance.

Provides a range of practically based activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts: for example educational, sporting and environmental. Activities are either based in the HQ or are undertaken during trips away either on a daily basis or on field camps.

Raising funds through school events to enhance the experience of school children

3 sessions per week children/adults in the West Swindon area to motivate a better and confident future of a mixed age range and of different ethnic backgrounds, to encourage development/explore and build a better understanding and socialising.We provide informal advice work on various government & community issues, participate in presentations and liaise with wider community/services.

Swindon Mind provides a community, wellbeing & learning programme consisting of; Wellbeing House. One to one advice, counselling & Wellbeing Coordination. Activity & social inclusion in the community including sport, walking, connect & meet, Creative classes, swimming, football. Mental Health Training, Schools programme, Employment Services Support & Swindon Mindful Employers Network.

We are a small committee made up of parent volunteers whose aim is to fundraise for the schools Special Needs children and put back every penny of that money into purchasing specialist equipment for our children. This may be anything from sensory resources, furniture, specialist outdoor equipment, send pupils on a residential holiday, or saving to purchase a new minibus.
