The Charity supports improved treatment of children with CTEV (Club Foot) in Zanzibar by training medical staff, educating families and supporting patients and carers through grants to enable mothers and children to travel to hospital for treatment. Servies are delivered in conjuntion with Mnazi Mmoja Hospital and the Zanzibar Outreach Programme, an umbrella organisation operating in Zanzibar.

Financial support for relief of poverty, local famine relief, drilling wells, for specific assessed individual education, building a Health Centre. Provision of: recycled computers, mobile phones, secondhand free spectacles, health education using Swahili literature. Annual Trustee and supporter trips to the area of operation and possible visits of Tanzanian pastors to UK for mutual edification.

General Charitable Purposes

The charity works in relief of poverty, advancement of education and preservation of health. It provide one off or regular grants to people in poverty. It helps needy persons in education by providing financial assistance. It also provide help towards hospital expenses or acquiring equipment for health care facilities. Help is also provided towards basic facilities like clean water and sanitation.

Zubeida Charitable Trust is a general purpose charity and aims to support a range of charitable causes for the public benefit. The main focus being on i/ humanitarian relief and development via financial or other aid; ii/ educational aid, religious (Islamic) and secular; iii/ medical aid. As ZCT is a small charity we generally work by providing grants to other larger UK registered charities.

EDUCATION & HERITAGE ACTIVITIES.

The spiritual support and welfare of members of the Christadelphian community, their children and anyone interested in their beliefs throughout the world by means of newsletters, Bible Studies, lessons for children, exhortations - all delivered by post or email.

In 2011 Larchfield (as Larchfield Charity Organisation) (?Larchfield Tanzania?) was legally set up as an NGO [#00NG0/00005420] and acquired acquired 7.5 acres of land at Mkuranga, (some 40 miles south of Dar-es-Salaam) where there are many disadvantaged children - the lucky ones are fostered with other families. With government and private sector encouragement the Larchfield Project began.

1. Subsidising running costs of Choba Primary and Nursery School, an independent (of the government) Tanzanian school for 350 children that was initially built by Children of Choba. Parents now pay fees that cover 75% of running costs, including salaries, porridge and maintaining school buildings.2. Sponsoring fees and boarding costs of selected Choba graduates at secondary school and college.

Our aim is to freely distribute Bibles/Christian literature for the honour and glory of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, in obedience to the great commission (Mark 16. 15, 2 Timothy 2. 2). We aim to show compassion to those in need (James 1. 27). Bibles and books are freely distributed in Africa and Asia, with support to an orphanage in Asia.

The Organisation undertakes charitable activities in various ways such as providing support to the needy and poor individuals.

To promote the conservation, preservation and restoration for the public benefit of the world's animal, bird, fish and plant life and its industrial, urban, natural and marine environmentsof ecological or scientific importance, and its natural rescources;To advance the education of the public in natural history, environmental studies, ecology and conservation.

(1) to relieve sickness and protect and preserve good health in people suffering from eye disorders;(2) to promote research into eye disease and its treatment and publish the useful results thereof;(3) to advance education in the subject of eye disease.Holding of scientific meetings, conferences and courses and awarding of prizes for valuable contributions to meetings and research;

Kisa Kids aims to assist parents and educators in shaping and nurturing the minds and souls of the future generation. Through the distribution of Islamic Studies curriculum, children's Islamic literature, Islamic projects resources, and more. We strive to support caregivers and equip them with some of the tools needed to educate and nurture our children.

To preserve & protect health & relieve sickness in particular but not exclusively by: Promoting the co-ordination of a research strategy in different countries for the scientific exploration of early development in relation to chronic disease in later life. Promoting the development and application of public health strategies to prevent chronic disease. Supporting educational activities

The principle activity for year under review was that of providing and promoting the development of social and creative skills through the use of video and other media. Real Time targeted its work at socially excluded groups, economically deprived areas and at-risk groups. Real Time supported young people and people with disabilities in producing films .

For the public benefit, to further such charitable purposes according to the law of England and Wales as the trustees see fit from time to time. In particular, to promote for the benefit of the public the promotion of the protection of the environment by providing grants to organisations and projects focusing on the conservation, protection and improvement of the environment.

Church activities

PROMOTING HUMAN RIGHTS, GENDER EQUALITY AND RELIEF IN NEED

The African Bird Club gives grants to individuals and groups in African countries to support a wide range of small to medium-sized projects there that benefit the conservation of African birds or their habitats. Our website is the primary online source for all things to do with African birds. We also publish a twice-yearly, peer-reviewed bulletin, and we are developing a series of birding apps.

To foster beneficial links between healthcare professionals from Hereford in UK and from Muheza in Tanzania. To facilitate educational visits between the two regions. To support the work of Muheza Hospice. To organise medical student electives to Muheza. To provide financial support for healthcare professionals in Muheza to attend educational courses or conferences.

The trustees believe that the provision of education is one very practical way to help people out of poverty and into a worthwhile and sustainable life. The main areas in which the charity operates are South Sudan and Tanzania. The charity works with disadvantaged children from a variety of backgrounds including orphans and deaf children.

The Charity's principal activity is to facilitate the provision of post-graduate level higher education and the study of law by individuals from the continent of Africa.
