Relief of poverty in developing countries

The Charity is a grant-making charity. It distributes grants from capital and income for charitable works, mainly Evangelical non-ecumenical Churches and charitable activities undertaken by Evangelical Christian bodies and charitable agencies for the support of the elderly and terminally ill. As the charity is winding down, it is unable to accept any future applications.

The relief of poverty and need amongst persons including the provision of food, facilities for education, water and medical care, legal aid to those illegally detained, help to start up a business, assistance for the poor in basic wedding needs for their daughters & sisters in order to prevent the worsening of poverty.

THE CHARITY WILL UNDERTAKE ACTIVITIES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE IN THE UK AND IN VERY DEPRIVED COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE; THOSE IN EXTREMELY HIGH POVERTY AND AS SUCH WILL ASSIST GLOBAL COMMUNITIES IN SUCH CHARITABLE WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT

Relief of hardship, education, religious activities, healthcare among poor and disadvantaged in Tanzania and other parts of Africa.

The objects of the trust are to advance the education of students in Africa; currently Zambia, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. Pupils and students are either awarded scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants to pay for their further education, or provided with and assisted in the provision of resources for education at the school/university.

Working to alleviate poverty mainly in Lindi and Mtwara, Southeast Tanzania. Grants can also be allocated in other regions of Tanzania where appropriate. Student sponsorship in English Medium schools, short term sponsorship for vocational and catch up education. Income generation finance and mentoring for women and girls. The Charity is an umbrella organisation for the United Pentecostal Oneness Church worldwide, facilitating the supervision and co-ordination of the local churches in countries around the world to ensure that they are consistent in their approach to doctrinal and pastoral matters through periodic training, accrediting and supervising pastors, and providing funds to churches in financial need.
