The Society's main activities include publishing journals and books, providing grants to support mathematics and organising scientific meetings and lectures. Primary activities are concerned with the training of television, radio, newspaper, magazine and news agency personnel; the encouragement of good management practices; technical assistance in print and broadcasting; and help and advice in the development of new outlets for journalists and broadcasters, including the internet.

We provided training on international human rights law. We supported pilot projects to improve the safeguarding of detainees' rights. We supported legal aid cases. We provided capacity building to Chinese civil society organisations promoting public participation, an end to the use of torture, abolition of the death penalty and protecting the rights of the disabled.

To advance such charitable purposes or the people and inhabitants of Myanmar (both in Myanmar and elsewhere) as the trustees think fit.

Right To Play is a global organisation that uses the transformative power of play - playing sports, playing games - to educate and empower children affected by conflict, poverty and disease. We promote the human right of privacy throughout the world, specifically:- raise awareness of threats to privacy;- monitor and report on surveillance methods and tactics;- work at national and international levels toward the provision of privacy protections;- monitor measures to protect privacy, and to seek ways through information technology to protect personal information

Advancing education in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM subjects) inparticular with the aim of increasing diversity in STEM subjects and improving representation of underprivileged students. Operating internationally in the UK, the United States, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, China, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, India and other jurisdictions in which a grant would be beneficial.
