Monthly support of basic teaching aids and equipment.Organising and delivering Teacher Training in local village schools.Support for community projects and when available school buildings.Small grant funding for micro-enterprise projects to support independence.

The charity supports the advancement of the education of the pupils at Aunty Dorricings International nursery and lower basic school in Ghana Town, The Gambia by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school.

SWST works for the relief of Poverty In Gambia. We work with our chosen partners in Health Eduation and Sport.With Health we have supplied a Mammogram machine for Banjul Hospital. We work with 2 schools . Campama lower basic where we have helped with fabric improvements for 14 years including water supply and kitchen garden. Sankandi school extra 3 classrooms and support for Gambian Cricket

We provide funding to activities in the poorest nations and communities of the world, especially those benefiting marginalised groups such as children, women, and the disabled. We work through organisations who are formally equipped and trained to empower these groups. We work only with those initiatives with which we have a personal connection, and do not respond to unsolicited requests.

To advance education including the education of orphans, widows, widowers and single parents in developing countries so as to promote social justice, equality and well being of people and the education of the general public throughout the world on the issues of poverty, ill health and injustice experience by groups mentioned above in parts of Africa, the UK or the world as the trustees think fit.

To provide bespoke wheelchairs and other mobility aids to those people who the charity think will benefit most

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY, ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF CHILDREN LIVING IN IVORY COAST AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF WEST AFRICA AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE WHO HAVE BEEN ORPHANED, OR WHO ARE FROM POOR BACKGROUNDS THAT ARE UNABLE TO SUPPORT THEMSELVES, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FOOD, CLOTHING, MEDICATION, ACCOMMODATION AND SUPPORT WITH ACCES

To advance in life & help young people in The Gambia:a) Develop skills, capacities & capabilities,b) Advance education via sponsorship, free education, after-school classes, training programs & offering of resources to schools in need,c) Providing/assisting in the provision of education, training & healthcare projects,d) Provide recreational activities in the interests of social welfare.

To promote and protect good health in Gambia as the Trustees shall determine.

The Trustees shall apply on an international basis the income and capital of the Trust for the following charitable purposes - Environment, Social Inclusion, Education & the Arts and Relief for Refugees & those in need. This will be achieved bythe awarding of grants to appropriate organisations operating within the above areas and the subsequent monitoring of the impact the grants have made.

We support a small nursery school in the village of Sinchu Balia, Gambia. We fundraise primarily to support the staffing costs and maintenance of the buildings, as well as learning and teaching resources.
