The FRU trains volunteers to represent clients in legal hearings. We aim to prevent poverty by enabling clients to obtain their legal rights. Legal aid is not available and our clients cannot afford to pay for representation. We operate in Greater London, the home counties and the east midlands. Energy Sparks offers an online energy analysis tool and energy education programme specifically designed to help schools reduce their electricity and gas usage through the analysis of half hourly smart meter data. Energy Sparks provides advice and activities to support pupils and the wider school community to reduce their school's carbon footprint.

The British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre works for the welfare of all Thoroughbreds and retired racehorses. BTRC assesses and then rehabilitates, retrains and re-homes these horses to permanent loan homes throughout the UK where they are regularly monitored. BTRC never buys or sells horses - the horses are donated to the charity and remain in the BTRC's ownership for the rest of their lives.
