NYAS also provides Independent Visitors who befriend children in care, and we undertake Regulation 44 visits of children homes. Under Rule 16.4 of the Family Proceedings Act we represent children and young people in private law family proceedings.

The company administers a charity voucher system, whereby clients gift aid funds into the charity's account. The charity reclaims basic rate tax on such donations on behalf of such clients. Sub-accounts in the donors names are created and the reclaimed tax is added to this account, funds being distributed to charities on the donors instructions.

Childhood First (previously called the Peper Harow Foundation) provides integrated programmes of care, education and treatment to children and young people who are suffering the consequences of neglect and emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
