Scoliosis Association UK and British Scoliosis Research Foundation merged on 1st January 2023 and relaunched as Scoliosis Support and Research on 1st January 2024.We provide support and information to people affected by scoliosis and their families and raise awareness. The object of the charity is the relief of serving and former evangelists, bible teachers and their current or former dependants including spouses, widows or widowers who are normally resident in the United Kingdom and require such assistance because they are in a condition of need, hardship or distress, or sick, convalescent, disabled or handicapped or elderly.

Providing funds for the public benefit

During the year ended 31 July 2018 there were no changes in the general policies of the Trustees. The Trust remains a grant making trust making grants in accordance with the objects. The Trustees do not make grants in response to unsolicited applications or to individuals.

The Packard Foundation runs a two-year fellowship programme supporting social entrepreneurs called A Million Realities. The programme aims to find tomorrow's social impact leaders and support them to become the changemakers of the future by offering them funding, personal and professional development, retreats, mentoring and coaching. The Packard Foundation also makes targeted grants.

The charity exists to promote transport safety through research, education and dissemination.

The trustees consider applications for funding when received and resolve to apply the income and capital of the foundation to such charities or for such charitable purposes as they in their discretion think fit.

The provision and maintenance of social housing

Climbing Out runs 5 day residential outdoor activity programmes working with people facing life changing injury or illness. We aim to help restore their confidence and self esteem through challenging activities, coaching and peer support networks.
