To relieve the suffering of dogs and cats who are abandoned, stray or otherwise in need of care. The charity assists in particular in the maintenance of kennels for the care and treatment of stray or abandoned dogs and cats, the creation of spay/neutering programmes, funding veterinary care. The Story Museum has three core charitable aims: a) to establish and maintain a museum dedicated to children's literature and the City of Oxford; b) to conserve, interpret and develop collections and heritage assets relevant to these subjects; c) to provide learning opportunities for and promote literacy and creativity among children, young people and families.

PET supports prisoners to transform their lives through learning. We do this by providing distance learning courses, advice and support in subjects and levels not available in prisons. PET also promotes and argues the case for prisoner education, supports learning communities for prisoners and ex-prisoners, and carries out research informed by prisoner learners, to improve policies and practice.

We provide a range of services to support families face to face, on the phone and on-line.
