WE REHOME GOLDEN RETRIEVERS WHEN THEIR OWNERS CAN NO LONGER COPE AND SUPPORT OLDER GOLDEN RETRIEVERS IN FOSTER HOMES. THE CHARITY HAS A STALL THAT WE TAKE ROUND VARIOUS FETES RAISING MONEY TO HELP WITH MEDICAL COSTS FOR THOSE OWNERS WHO CANNOT AFFORD VETERINARY FEESFOR THE OLDER GOLDENS THAT THEY HAVE GIVEN NEW HOMES TO.

The Charity funds medical research in the areas of paediatric haematology, paediatric oncology and invasive fungal infections attributable to the high infection risk of blood cancer patients. We support the future care, diagnosis and treatment of children with blood cancer to help save children's lives.

We provide support to the local community and also internationally via Lions Clubs International. Our activities include local fundraising via collections and special events, a fuel poverty and hardship support scheme, providing lunch on Christmas Day for people who live alone, projects in schools and assistance to other community organisations.

The object of the CIO is to relieve sickness and to preserve and protect good health for thepublic benefit by promoting medical knowledge, and excellence through education andresearch with particular reference to the diseases of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

The charity's purposes which are entirely charitable under English Law are to advance the education of the public and / or to benefit the public in the village of Blackthorn by making grants to schools.

As the objects of the charity are not limited to any specific areas of charitable activity, the trustees receive a number of applications for donations. In keeping with the founder's general charitable intentions, donations are awarded to a variety of charitable bodies. Twice yearly they review the applications received during the previous six months and select the donees from those applications.

The aim is the promotion of social inclusion among parents in the UK, in particular but not exclusively by providing education, information and opportunities to support and enable Autistic parents as well as advocating for Autistic parents generally and in relation to professional services.
