General Charitable Purposes

We are a national charity helping people through the experience of breast cancer. We offer information, counselling and complementary therapies through our welcoming Havens and outreach programme. We work alongside the NHS to provide integrated breast cancer care and are committed to undertaking rigorous research to evaluate the effectiveness of our programmes in helping people with breast cancer.

To provide information, advice and support to people suffering from allergic disease and their carers, to represent the views of people with allergic disease and to provide education for those working with people with allergy.

Support Through Court aim to reduce the disadvantage of people facing the civil and family justice system without a lawyer, enabling them to access justice. We believe that no one should face court alone and so we work to provide immediate support to everyone who comes to us.

Sister System works with care affected young women aged 13-24yrs, to help them achieve a life free of abuse, with good mental health, such that they re-engage with education and move into and sustain education, employment or training post-16. Sister System does this by providing intensive educational programmes and a range of pastoral activities of support and guidance over a period of 8 years.

Provision of housing

To promote public health through effective HIV prevention and early diagnosis of HIV infection; to promote the rights, dignity, health and wellbeing of people affected by HIV, or at risk of HIV infection, in the UK; to advance the education of the public in general in order to increase awareness and understanding of HIV and AIDS and eradicate HIV-related stigma, discrimination and inequality.

The Regional Studies Association is a global community promoting regional research, development, and policy. It supports researchers, connects research to policy, and shares knowledge through journals, events, networks, grants and awards to advance regional studies and demonstrate their societal value.
