Breckenbrough is a school catering for boys aged 9 - 19 years. The students have a range of special needs some are Autistic , some have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Attention Deficit Disorder and others have an unspecific designation of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. All pupils are educated to at least GCSE level.

The Charity aims to support the religious and other charitable activities of the Sisters of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood.
