In accordance with the CIO's objectives, Chiltern Arts presents musical, literary and visual arts (mostly musical) events in venues across the Chilterns, most of which take place during the Chiltern Arts Festival in late winter/early Spring. The CIO also promotes the work of young professional artists, and encourages young people to become involved with music and the arts through its activities.

GAV delivers evidence-based preventative education sessions. It delivers age appropriate sessions to students in school years 5 through to 10, providing a continuum of universal engagement. The curriculum includes award-winning lessons on sexual violence, knife crime, stop and search, gang recruitment and the anti-social use of social media. Sessions have been delivered to over 270,000 students.

Hawa Trust is committed to eradicating FGM in the UK, especially among African, Asian and Arab communities. Girls and young women from African communities are normally taken to Africa to undergo FGM. This is a dangerous practice which has devastating physical, psychological and emotional effects on the victims. We also address issues relating to HIV and AIDS, and domestic violence.

St Mary's is a church with a Church Hall, the hall is rented out as required by people. The church provides services for the general public, such as baptisms, marriages, funerals and weekly Church services. We also raise and give money to charities. All people are welcome to our church, regardless of denomination.

We provide mental health support and suicide prevention services. We support families who have been bereaved by suicide. We have a twice weekly drop in center within the Basildon Borough for people who need support or are at crisis point.

The charity also provides support for people living in poverty throughout the UK in the form of food banks and food parcels to the homeless as well as grant funding.
