The Trustees are keen to support a wide range of areas that would have been of interest to the late Mrs Verina Black. In particular to support volunteer led projects that enhance rural life and promote local skills. Quiet Down There works with communities who do not access mainstream culture to articulate, celebrate and explore their creativity. We are based in Brighton & Hove but we work accross the UK.

The foundation provides housing and educational support, information, advice, training and advocacy on dealing with the ongoing effects of homelessness and unemployment issues, food provision when required. MancSpirit operates across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the North West harnessing the regions creative scene in the Arts, Crafts and Digital Tech to improve mental health. We do this through providing workshops and events as well as developing projects that increase access to the Arts.

Future Fit produces replica Command Field Gun guns and limbers, which are used by primary school children to emulate field gun runs held at the Royal Tournament pre the year 2000. To advance the education of children and young people in the UK for the public benefit, giving priority to those pupils who are affected by social and economic disadvantage, by the encouragement of reading and the promotion of literacy skills through the provision of book clubs and related literacy activities.
