The charity makes grants mainly for the education of disadvantaged children under the age of 18 overseas and nationally. The Working Horse Trust's principal activity is the keeping of heavy horses in order to help preserve them. Throughout the year we attend a variety of events, hold open days and undertake work with our horses to encourage wider interest, support and ownership.

Camberley and District Silver Band is a traditional brass band, providing an opportunity for anyone to learn music, entertain and to compete. We have a stock of music, percussion and brass instruments for use towards meeting these aims. The band has an open policy to all abilities, backgrounds and ages. Currently the band has a membership of around 30 people, aged between 10 and 80 years old.

Lighthouse Shelswell has been set up to promote the Christian faith in children and young people through the provision of a free children's holiday club which is open to all irrespective of beliefs. The Virgil Society usually holds five public meetings each year in central London which are attended without charge by members and non-members. We as a charity raise essential funds for Long Row Primary and Nursery school.The monies raised go towards equipment, events and days out which may not be covered by the schools government budget.
