The Society's Royal Charter 1802 states the purpose as 'The Cultivation of the Science of Natural History in all its branches'. We have three key charitable activities:1) safeguarding and promoting our heritage collections; 2) advancing scientific knowledge and understanding; 3) engaging the public and educational outreach. Our vision is a world where nature is understood, valued and protected.

Provision of information,guidance and adviceSupport for Parents and Children and Young People with ADHDEducation Programmes/Young Peoples Activities 1 to 1 Coaching. Support for young offenders with ADHD. Support for clinicians. Training for professionals - UK wide. Promoting awareness of ADHD and influencing policy and provision through the Government and other agencies.

Grants are given to charities in England to assist adults and children with physical and mental disabilities, the elderly in need, children and adults who are seriously ill. The Trust also supports the welfare of people involved in the horseracing industry. The Trust supports Jewish people in need within the UK. The Trust funds pre-school education projects in South Africa.

The object of the CIO are such charitable purposes which advance the Christian religion as the Trustees shall from time to time think fit and in particular but willout prejudice to the generality of the foregoing in the teaching of the Christian tradition of meditation and prayer as et out in the teaching of John Main.Advancing the Christian Religion particularly in the teaching of the Christ

Pause works with women who have experienced, or are at risk of, repeat removals of children from their care. We aim to break this cycle and give women the opportunity to develop new skills and responses that can help them create a more positive future.

The charity seeks to advance education in and promote public appreciation of the performing arts, in particular but not limited to, music; and to acquire, preserve, restore and maintain the building of historic and architectural interest situated in Sheffield currently known as Canada House.

The Foundation makes grants and donations to support projects in the UK and overseas, with a particular focus on Africa (especially East Africa) and South East Asia. Trustees' focus is on: - promoting strong and cohesive communities;- enabling young people to realise their potential; and, - empowering women and girls

The Fund relieves members and former members of the constituent forces, their families and dependants who are in need, hardship or distress

SOE is a membership organisation with individual members,company and academic members. It offers a wide range of technical information, advice and feedback via its website, journals and technical events. It encourages suitably qualified members to register with Engineering Council and operates a licensing scheme - irtec - for vehicle mechanics and technicians.

The provision of accommodation, care and support to adult people with learning and/or other disabilities. The provision of care and support to such clients living in their own homes.

As a family foundation our object is:"To further such charitable purposes (charitable under English law) as the trustees see fit from time to time through the provision of grants."Our grant making policy and procedure sets out how the trustees decide on causes to fund.

The charity is a grant making foundation, it does not directly implement charitable works but provides financial support to organisations that do.

At our Academy in Newham, we use boxing and martial arts combined with education and personal development to realise the potential of young people. Our Alumni Programme is an organisational capacity training consultancy and support services for local community based charities delivering programmes in communities affected by crime and violence in the UK and globally.

Provision of quality support, including accommodation, to vulnerable individuals. We work mainly with ex-offenders, ex addicts, and the homeless.We work with churches to provide practical support for vulnerable individuals.

To give assistance & relief to impoverished women and children in Israel.To help support and strengthen the family in Israel, to enable our charitable work to include citizens of all religious beliefs, race & creed and to further Jewish education in Israel, the UK and the Republic of Ireland.To sponsor all existing projects in Israel including day care centres, family centres & other projects.
