Empowering the youth through vocational skills

Research into human rights (HR) issues in particular, but not exclusively, within the Jewish community; raising awareness/educating the public about HR; providing technical advice on HR matters; contributing to sound administration of HR law; commenting on proposed HR legislation/policy; promoting public support/respect for HR, analysis of extremism as it relates to the Jewish community

In furtherance of its objects the Charity organises events and meetings alongside the meetings of the General Synod of the Church of England and on other occasions, responds to issues raised by members and others, and publishes articles, reports and analysis with a particular focus on the role of women at all levels in the church. We also participate in consultations and working groups.

Providing free self defence lessons for children and ladies

Provision of Education and Support Facilities for children and young people that have Intellectual and Physical Disabilities. Supporting the need of these people in the target community and others.

Fundraising activities to support local, national and international charities, organisations and individuals.

Stuart House having been renovated to continue to maintain it and to run it as an Arts and Heritage Centre for the benefit of the community and to visitors and to acquire by way of gifts or purchase items of local interest for the Centre.

The Trust's priority is to support charitities in Yorkshire, although consideration is given outside the area if the Charity concerned is of particular interest to one of the Trustees. The main categories of giving are social welfare, medical, arts and local conservation. On-going support is given if thought appropriate and Trustees look for well-managed organisations. No grants to individuals.

To further or benefit the residents of Caddington and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious, or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation.

Religious Activities

The charity intends to support a limited number of students in financial need with living expenses during tertiary education. Applicants will be identified in conjunction with their secondary schools and will be expected to explain in writing why the need help and how the course they plan to undertake will change their lives. No direct application will be considered.

Providing grants to organisations and individuals in order to advance the Christian faith; to advance human rights, conflict resolution, reconciliation or the promotion of religious or racial harmony; to relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; to advance health or save lives.

To advance the Muslim religion in North Devon and the surrounding area for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals and the distribution of literature on the Islamic faith, providing services of worship and religious teaching

We try to meet the spiritual, social, physical and educational needs of the local community through one-to-one and group support. We provide food parcels, clothing, signposting individuals to accommodation, and assistance in preparing for job interviews. We also do hospital, residential care home and prison visits on a quarterly basis.

Promote participation in the sport of hockey for all ages within the community, providing facilities for playing hockey, opportunities for recreation, coaching, umpiring and competition.

Advance the religion and culture of Islam. Advance education with the overall aim to improve quality of life, enhance life skills, and improve livelihood opportunities.Prevention and relief of poverty and sickness anywhere in the world, in particular amongst those affected by natural disasters, wars, conflicts, financial hardship and other humanitarian emergencies. Promote religious harmony.
