The Rotary Club of Hereford Elgar Rotary is part of Rotary International. As such, we operate within RI governance arrangements, whilst being an independent UK charity registered with the UK Charities commission. We raise funds to support those most in need locally, nationally and internationally. We also support End Polio Now and Rotary Foundation.

The Charity's objects are the advancement of the arts through the presentation of classical music to local communities in Howdenshire, and elsewhere in the UK, through free concerts, and to advance the education of the public by providing educational activities in the subject of classical music.

At Charity Boots, we collect unwanted football boots and donate them to children who cannot afford a pair. Football is the most popular sport worldwide, and there are so many children who do not have the same opportunities to safely play the beautiful game. We continuously collaborate with other charities, schools, football clubs etc. so that we can reach the communities that need it the most.

We hold services on Fridays and Sundays and these are available to all members of the public and details are spread by word of mouth and leaflets. Anyone from any background or religion can attend and be able to learn about religion and meet new people. We also get involved in community actions and and visit elderly homes on a monthly basis to offer pampering and conversation.

TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION IN RUGBY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, PUBLIC CELEBRATIONS OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS AND PROVIDE SERVICES OF WORSHIP AND RELIGIOUS TEACHING.

Amateur Theatre Performances performed in the Village of Fleckney. These include pantomimes, musicals, plays and cabaret performance.

The Charity primarily funds the provision of religious services for the Romanian Community in Greater Manchester. Also, the Charity supports the Christian Orthodox Community (communities) with respect to education, relief of poverty and other social and spiritual goods and services. The services of the Charity are open to all those interested.

AWP addresses socio-economic exclusion of Asian women through provision of advice, information, training, education and employment, activities for children and young people. Day care for older women and children.

The Association is principally engaged in the promotion of the Christian religion, and as trustee of funds held on behalf of Congregational and United Reformed Churches, in Yorkshire.

Burrowed Hearts is a small animal rescue based in Derbyshire. We take in domestic rodents and rabbits who are in need and find them suitable homes once they have received any necessary veterinary treatment

We raise funds for sterilisation, vaccination and veterinary treatment of sick and injured strays on the island of Mauritius. Also we provide educational and financial support for the NGO'S on the island with regard to Animal Welfare. Working on relations with the Mauritian Society of Animal Welfare to change their policy of catch and kill.

To fulfill the following objectives in Kenya and other developing countries:(1) to advance the education of children e.g.through the provision of teachers and other volunteers, grants, school equipment and other items and services to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty(2) the advancement of female empowerment
