AGRICULTURE AND RURAL CHARITY

NEP's aims are to;advance the education of the public concerning energy efficiency including the alleviation of fuel poverty, andprotect the environment and public health through the provision and use of energy in ways that reduce harmful emissions and in so doing create new jobs in the energy efficiency sector.

We develop alternatives to school exclusion, promote the alternative sector, managed moves, and community-based approaches to inclusion, We run an independent special school in Somerset for children with a wide range of developmental needs using non-coercive, therapeutic approaches focusing on relationship skills.

The principal objective of the organisation is to practise and propagate Islam as expounded by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad through its members, who are Ahmadi Muslim men over the age of 40. This includes training and education of members and their families, and also the generation of funds for other charities through its annual charity walks.

We provide assessments for the elderly and people with disabilities in order to maintain and enhance independence.

The fund gives support through financial assistance to eligible priests who are members of the fund who are permanently or temporarily incapacitated by old age, infirmity or illness from the performance of their clerical duties. The fund aims to relieve the hardship that might otherwise be experienced.

CCX exists for the public benefit to advance the Christian faith throughout the world and to do so principally, but not exclusively, by serving and enabling the Christian church worldwide, and particularly in the Diocese of London and throughout England, in accordance with the Statement of Faith.The mission of CCX is to resource the church to reach new people in new and renewed ways.

A leading voluntary organisation primarily operating in the North West, providing advice and information about assistive technology (equipment and products) to help disabled adults, children and older people make a more informed choice which enables easier, safer and more independent living. Through BBUK and Kidz events, Disabled Living deliver services which make an impact nationally.

Provision of facilities and support to prisoners and their families.

The Trustees will normally only make grants to registered charities experienced in their chosen field of work and never to individuals. Long-term core funding of appropriate work is the Trust's normal approach, taking the form of money given on a recurring annual basis subject to yearly re-submission and review. The Trust also runs an Awards Scheme in partnership with other organisations.

The charity works to:1) preserve, protect and enhance the physical and natural environment and heritage of Greater Manchester and elsewhere.2) advance the conservation, protection and improvement of the environment for the benefit of the public.3) promote the provision of green space for the public to access.

The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre directly helps dyslexic individuals of all ages, trains and assists professionals to help dyslexic individuals, and gives guidance to schools, colleges and other institutions on how to help dyslexic individuals.

To advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fitfrom time to time in particular but not limited to improving the lives of young people and vulnerable adults through education, literacy, and training, as well as arts initiatives, for the public benefit by making grants, social investments, and programme related investments.
