The charity supports projects related to health, water, education, the environment, women and disabled people in Nekemte and surrounding areas. HOLDING REGULAR SERVICES TO PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THE COMMUNITY. FACILITATING WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS TO ADDRESS SOCIAL ISSUES AFFECTING OUR COMMUNITYPROVIDING SEVICES CORRESPONDING WITH ADDRESSING SOCIAL ISSUES E.G COMMUNITY CAFE INCLUDING FOOD DONATIONS

We provide activities and events to promote the acceptance of patients and their families to their disability. We provide peer support for those suffering a spinal cord illness or injury.

Positive Change relieves poverty, food insecurity and social isolation in the London Borough of Hounslow. We deliver a volunteer befriending service offering companionship to lonely adults. We also run a Mobile Food Pantry service providing non-perishable food, sanitary products and household essentials (including period pads, toilet rolls and washing machine pods) to families in deprived areas.

The charity currently assists Gurkha Veterans and their families settle into the UK. Support is given to those Veterans, (pre 1997), to complete all the forms required by the council, banks & estate agents. Liaison is also arranged between the DWP & the GWT. Income is mainly through street collections,donations and the Gurkha Resettlement Fund..English language and other courses are available.

As funds are available we respond to appeals to support individuals & organisations working both in the UK and overseas for the relief of poverty and famine, for medical research and to support the disabled and for the promotion of the Christian faith through translation and distribution of Bibles and outreach activities. We make donations to benefit people of all ages.

This charity is run for the benefit of young people & children in need by reason of ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. It provides funds for individuals & groups. The maximum age limit for beneficiaries is 18 and the charity is principally for those with a link to the City but any appropriate request which falls within the charity guidelines will be considered.

Our Charity holds events and activities according to the Hindu calendar, e.g. Navratri, Diwali, prayer sessions, pitru bhajans; and educate people about religion by explaining the significance of various rituals such as arti and rangolis.
