Jeevan Vigyan UK is committed to promote and advance public education and understanding of the philosophy and practice of yoga, by providing regular yoga classes through-out the year, mainly via ZOOM (but not limited to it), providing accessible opportunities to participate and experience the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga for the people in the United Kingdom.

The Harry-Krish Mootoosamy Foundation aims to provide music therapy by making grants to organisations to support children and young people suffering from terminal or critical illness.We also aim to raise public awareness of the symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer.The Foundation is run by volunteers who are passionate about honoring the life of Harry-Krish Mootoosamy and these causes.

Charitable projects for the needy

Pain UK is working to influence the way pain is dealt with in the NHS. It seeks to improve public awareness of the causes, effects, treatment and management of pain. As an umbrella organisation it helps build a stronger voice to represent those living with pain. It seeks to help charities that work with people who live with pain so that they can offer better services to their individual members.

- Obesity prevention and keep-fit activities for children and young people;- Weekend and evening supplementary education for children and young people;- Coffee morning, light group exercise and befriending service for the elderly(over 55s); - Employability training and career advice for young people and the unemployed;- Welfare benefit advice sessions, signposting and referral services.

The club makes grants to individuals in need, local charities and organisations and within Swaffham and the surrounding villages. It will, in case of need, support national charities. It will also support International appeals through LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION. Funds are raised through a variety of fundraising events.

Our primary activity is to produce, co-produce and promote concert events and to produce them as touring productions to ensure wide public distribution within the UK. Our concert tour activity is focussed on delivering events that have considerable artistic value and merit but which could not be realised regionally by the commercial sector.

Clairs Parents Meeting Parents ADHD Support (CPMPADHD) aims to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding ADHD, whilst providing a support network for parents and carers in St Helens and the surrounding areas. We hold support meeting; provide information, advice and strategies on ADHD; speakers and workshops; activities and courses for children and their siblings.

TO RELIEVE NEEDS OF FAMILIES AND CARERS WHO ARE CARING FOR SOMEONE WITH A SERIOUS ILLNESS BY OFFERING RESPITE, PRINCIPALLY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT GROUPS AND DAY TRIPS.

Our activities include:- Providing car parking duties at events. Taking our Candy Floss stalls to events.Holding quiz nights, raffles, bingo etc.Providing a used spectacles collection service.All activities are carried out by our Members within the local community.
