We boost confidence and esteem by providing free beauty and grooming treatments to anyone undergoing treatment for cancer. We are a small caring charity that is based in South Yorkshire and we work in hospitals, homes and hospices in the surrounding area. Our mission is to continue the work of Laura Powell, our Little Warrior.

The charity supports education and community development activities in Yende Millimou in Guinea. Recent projects have involved improvements to school buildings and furniture and a library. We are looking at projects that improve financial independence for local women and encouraging villages to develop their own ameneties.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the art of music making and, in particular, the art and science of brass band music, through the promotion and practice of brass band music, by presentation of, and participation in, concerts, contest, practice and performance.

We are set up to further Evangelical Christianity throughout England through grant making and Christian education, especially for the training of evangelical Christian leaders. We give financial help to individuals to enable them to receive evangelical Christian education and training. People do not have to be members of the organisation in order to benefit.

For the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need in Afghanistan, who are the victims of war or live in poverty in particular by the supply of financial help and other charitable purposes according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit.

The Ghana Union Bradford is a charitable organisation which provide help to people of Ghana origin and other ethnic minority groups. We also provide services such as cultural diversity education to local authorities to equip their social workers to have a good knowledge of the cultural norms of people/children of Ghana and African backgrounds.we also sign post people to services and advice.

General charitable activities

The charity is currently developing a multi-year plan.

In 2018 the St Albans Rotary Swimathon was launched for communities to have fun swimming and to raise funds for local projects at the same timeSt Albans Rotary Clubs, who organise the event, are part of an worldwide organisation of service and supporters of generous charitable projects to support local communities.

We provide Bible classes by chapters and through Bible comparison. We also teach our Bible class participants to pray with God's words individually or by prayer groups.We spread the Christian faith through street evangelism, home visits and hospital visits.We may also arrange visits at the aged home.We may also coordinate with churches of the Christian faith to promote our faith.

We are an independent charity run by a small dedicated team of volunteers. We rely on the generosity of supporters, owners and the public to help fund our greyhounds in kennels and provide the care they need while they wait for their forever home. We attend fairs, country shows and fundraising events throughout the year to promote greyhounds as pets.

Goa Dog Foundation's prime focus is animal welfare, animal birth control, education and facilitating a safe place for rescued animals.
