We raise money to support the educational experience of pupils and build a sense of community around the school in the heart of Stroud. We actively try to increase parental engagement aiming to positively impacting educational and attainment. We work with teachers, staff, parents & other community members interested in supporting Archway School for the benefit of pupils.

Heather's Hedgehog Hostel takes in injured and sick hedgehogs in order to rehabilitate them with the aim of releasing them back into their natural habitats as soon as practicable.We also engage with all members of the local community to educate and inform people about their local wildlife, and in particular offer advice on how to help look after hedgehogs in the wild.

THE RYAN STANFORD APPEAL FUNDS RESEARCH INTO ALPERS SYNDROME, A RARE TERMINAL ILLNESS AFFECTING YOUNG CHILDREN. THE RESEARCH IS UNDERTAKEN AT THE WELLCOME CENTRE, NEWCASTLE.MUCH WORK HAS BEEN GIVEN TO RAISING AWARENESS TO ALPERS SYNDROME, THE RYAN STANFORD APPEAL AND ALSO COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER AFFECTED FAMILIES.

The Cathedral of Hope International provides weekly worship services open for the local community,teaching and promoting the Christian faith to all ages, providing training, nurture and activities for childrenand young people, serving our local community, and giving pastoral care and support to members andothers in need, particularly those in distress or facing poverty.

We are a Parents Teachers Association working with and for and with St Mary's County Primary School in Washington, West Sussex. Our primary purpose is to raise funds to support the education and environment of the pupils.

The provision of bursaries to young, talented but financial disadvantaged persons in the North West to cover the cost of tuition fees and ancillary costs. Once a bursary has been granted at the commencement of secondary education support will be provided until full time education ceases.

The group is established to pursue the following objects in the counties of Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Wiltshire and the Channel Islands: To advance the study and practice of archaeology; To promote the education of the public in such archaeology; To conduct and/or communicate the results of relevant research; To advance public understanding and care of the historic environment.

Education For Development supports education and social development initiatives in marginalised communities, wherever they are located. Much of our work is around non-formal and community education approaches, using a range of media, and learner-generated resources.

The income of the Fund is applied towards promoting the study and teaching of social anthropology. For many years, the Trustees have applied their available funds towards small grants to assist students of social anthropology, hampered by lack of funds, in the final stages of finishing their doctoral theses. Students affiliated to British and Commonwealth institutions only are eligible to apply.

Giving grants to individuals and organisations

Student4Students is an education charity that provides free, one-to-one primary school tuition in English and Maths. Our lessons are organised and taught by university students in their local community. We currently have branches in Bristol, Oxford and Durham.

The Trust raises funds for projects in Haryana in northern India, aimed at rural regeneration and building closer ties with rural communities in the state, directed at all times by the priorities of local people. Our major project is the building of a school and resource centre in the village of Buwan Kothi, in memory of one of our Trustees, Gilly Mundy, who died suddenly in March 2007.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATIONAL PROSPECTS OF YOUNG PEOPLE (AGED 14 TO 18 FROM LESS-ADVANTAGED SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, PARTICULARLY THROUGH COLLABORATING WITH LOCAL ACTORS TO CARRY OUT: FREE MATHS AND ENGLISH GCSE TUTORING; SCHOOL WORKSHOPS; AND COMMUNITY REVISION WORKSHOPS.
