Select Lifestyles Charitable Trust is based in the West Midlands and is dedicated to enabling and supporting the lives of vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and associated conditions.

Shadeaid raises money through fundraising activities such as social events by selling entry and raffle tickets, auctions, selling food etc. Shadeaid also encourages donations. The main work of the charity is to assist deprived people of South Sudan mainly in the neighbouring countries where they take refuge e.g Sudan, DRC , Uganda and Kenya. Working mostly in Sudan. Priority is school children.

FWRD is dedicated to reducing festival waste through education of festival-goers and collection of abandoned items once festivals end. We engage festival-goers to inform them about the environmental consequences of tent abandonment and organise post-festival salvages which other local and national charities can attend to collect abandoned items for whatever cause they support.

The Ascott Martyrs were sixteen women who were imprisoned in 1873 for supporting striking farm workers in the Oxfordshire village of Ascott Under Wychwood. The traumatic event led to a major riot in Chipping Norton and a reprieve from Queen Victoria. Their legacy today is that picketing was made legal in 1874 and local religious leaders were phased out of being magistrates.

New Shoes Theatre Company gives a voice to women's writing and their legacy of work and we have a multicultural and inclusive platform with international links. Our plays raise awareness about social issues and we offer workshops and free or discounted tickets to marginalised groups.
