We advance animal welfare of cats and dogs. We provide foster homes and we identify suitable permanent homes in the UK for unwanted/abandoned/lost/stray domestic animals from abroad, particularly from Greece. We provide financial aid, through fundraising, for medical care, including neutering and for transport to the UK, according to current legislation; we raise awareness of the public.

We promote the appreciation and performance of opera, by bringing live performances to communities at accessible prices; by creating performance opportunities for young and emerging artists; by developing links with arts organisations and professionals; by exploring the interaction of Opera with other art forms; and by enabling the creation and performance of both new and rarely-seen works.

The objective is to support orphaned children and old people with support to encourage them to be who they are as individuals. We want orphans and homeless children to grow up in a loving and joyful atmosphere rather than missing out on family life. We work towards any support they may need.

Sound World activities fall into three basic categories.1. Music education - including composition workshops, talks & an annual competition for young composers.2. The charity works towards its aims by fostering collaboration between researchers and practitioners in conferences and high quality professional programmes. We support research which will raise standards of practice. We speak up on behalf of the sector in national fora and respond to national policy.

Mayak Foundation supports women exiting situations of sex trafficking and exploitation, helping them to escape and access shelters and aftercare; fights the spread of HIV/AIDS and other infections among women in the sex industry; empowers and trains those at risk of being trafficked; and works to raise awareness of human trafficking and exploitation in wider society.
