Durham Dogs and Cats Home is an animal welfare-based organization whose primary aim is to create rewarding futures for unwanted dogs and cats. At the heart of our work lies a simple but powerful vision, a future where every dog and cat in the North East has a home where they can live a full and rewarding life.

The OddBalls Foundation raises awareness of Testicular Cancer by delivering educational talks, distributing self-check guides, and attending events with our mobile awareness unit, The OddPod. We operate across the UK & Ireland, encouraging early detection through regular self-checks to help save lives.

Working in partnership with local communities and other organisations, our charitable aims,objects and activities centre around three main themes.Advancement of communities Advancement of health Advancement of religion.Our fundraising activities are broad based and include fundraising from geographic territories and countries outwith our area/country of operations.

Our charity is based in Waterlooville. We are a childcare facility and are able to take children aged between 3 months and 5 years. Our holiday childcare and after school club caters for children up to 12 years of age.

The charity supports clergy, who, on account of age or infirmity, are no longer able to carry out their parochial work.

For the benefit of the public, to relieve the suffering of seals and seal pups in need of care and attention. To provide care and treatment to all local wildlife until such time as they can be safely released into the wild. To raise awareness and educate the public as to the seals natural environment and welfare needs. The main sources of income come from the shop in Mablethorpe and donations.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL PEOPLE

Our overall mission is to supports people to gain the skills and knowledge they need to build resilient livelihoods and thriving communities. We work with and through partner organisations to deliver training and to equip graduates for work. In the UK we have a network of over 350 UK volunteers who contribute by collecting and refurbishing donated tools and by fundraising to support our work.

The principle activity is the advancement of the Christian Faith, by promoting, supporting and encouraging the church by any means whatsoever including the preaching and proclamation of the Christian Gospel, along with the pastoral care of people and those in leadership within the church.

Volunteering and retail experience at the Furniture Mill,training for communities and professionals to become more culturally competent,supporting women to get back into work through job preparedness sessions and one to one enterprenual skills.
