The Charity supports the development of Catholic Education in schools and academies in the Diocese of Nottingham working in partnership with our Catholic Multi-Academy Trusts in the Diocese offering challenge and support for school improvement whilst at the same time seeking to strengthen the Catholic ethos and identity of the schools and academies in its care.

The prevention or relief of poverty, or financial hardship, anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self sufficient.

The Near Neighbours programme builds social integration by bringing people together in religiously and ethnically diverse communities, creating friendships, building relationships of trust and helping people to transform their neighbourhoods together. Near Neighbours works in locations in England.

Art Reach's mission is "Connecting cultures through extraordinary art". Its areas of activity include - 1) Creation/production of Festivals and events (primarily two Festival brands - Journeys Festival International and Re/action) 2) Coordinating a network and professional development programme for creative and cultural workers in Leicester and 3) Cultural consultancy

The principle objective of the Society is to promote the British Journal of Surgery as Europe's leading surgical journal and to support its affiliated surgical associations in Europe in promoting and advancing the practice of surgery by providing research and editorial bursaries, invited lectureships, surgical prizes and general support of surgical meetings across Europe.

PCP Housing provides beneficiaries who have had problems with substance misuse with access to drug/alcohol free supported housing. PCP Housing Staff ensure maintenance is carried out and that the houses are fully furnished. Regular random drug and alcohol testing is carried out. Each resident receives regularly scheduled key working sessions.

Advancing the education and mental health of children and young people in England who have autism

The Theodora Children's Charity brings music, magic and laughter to children living with illness, disability and serious health challenges with Giggle Doctor visits. They are professional performers, trained by the charity, to work in a clinical setting to bring therapeutic play to relieve a childs' distress, and improve their wellbeing and experience of being in hospital.

School In A Bag provide rucksacks full of essential resources to poor, orphan, disadvantaged and disaster affected children around the world. The SchoolBags enable a child to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves, eat, drink, wash and above all, learn.

To advance such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the Directors may from time to time determine. The Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications for grants.

THE CHARITY'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE PROVISION & DISTRIBUTION OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS IN SUPPORT OF THE ADVANCEMENT AND FURTHERANCE OF THE JEWISH RELIGION AND JEWISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY AMONG THE JEWISH COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

The charity makes grants to UK-registered charities and non-profit organisations to reduce poverty and advance human rights in developing countries.

We are dedicated to raising funds to provide psychological support for children and young people with brain and CNS tumours and their families. This includes provision of clinical psychologists in children's hospitals, provision of professional and family information via a resources hub, family support and professional development to improve standards of support for families.

EDUCATION/TRAINING, RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES, MAKES GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS

Education, training and workshops, seminars, social events, recreation and cultural activities. Advice surgeries on welfare rights, housing and health care, literacy, basic ESOL and Computer Skills, supplementary school for children and young people, and elderly people; employment, interpreting, ethnic and cultural events, drop-in centre and after school club.

Boccia England is the governing body for the sport of Boccia in England. We support, organize and promote the sport. Boccia is a target sport that tests muscle control and accuracy, demanding extreme skill and concentration at the highest level.Played on a court by athletes with a disability, the sport offers both tension and excitement as athletes aim to land balls close to a target ball.

We work to increase the safety and well-being of people affected by domestic abuse and to support professionals to work together to tackle abuse. Our Oxfordshire services include an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service and supporting multi agency Networks of Domestic Abuse Champions; and we provide training & consultancy in multi-agency practice across the UK.

Calm Mediation provides conflict resolution services and training, largely but not exclusively, in London and the South East.

Upswing makes modern cross art performance and participatory experiences that use circus skills as a vehicle for creative expression, exploring contemporary issues through the performing arts in general and circus in particular. The work challenges preconceptions of what circus can address, who can participate in it and its relevance to modern culture.
