Promoting effective primary care for people who use drugs and/or alcohol problematically and preserving and protecting their health, wellbeing and recovery.Developing, supporting and encouraging the role of general practitioners (GPs) and other health professionals to work in primary care with people who use alcohol and drugs.Providing a forum for primary care drug and alcohol practitioners.

AHSW provides advocacy, advice and information via a website, monthly e-bulletin and phone line.AHSW acts as umbrella or resource body for its members in the South West of England. It organises 4 meetings a year that allow its members to network, share information, ideas and resources.

Raising Awareness - We take every opportunity we can to provide the public with information about the symptoms of brain tumours, as well as childhood cancer.Supporting Families - We provide small grants toward hospital associated costs and we offer emotional and practical support to families affected by childhood cancer.Supporting Research - We support research into childhood brain tumours.

The charity runs a nostalgia radio station for people over 60 in Hampshire who are in need, by reason of age, illness, disability or other necessitous circumstances. A digital license has now been obtained to reach a larger proportion of the older population.

Paignton Community Larder relives food poverty for those in Torbay who are suffering financial hardship. The charity meets the need through the foodbank and the Community Supermarket.

The principal activity of the company continued to be that of producing theatre, storytelling, film and theatre-in-education programmes inspired by Muslim and interfaith literature, culture, art, heritage and contemporary experience.
