The principal activities of the charitable company in the year under review were that of the advancement of education and religious practice in accordance with the teachings of the Orthodox Jewish faith,and the relief of poverty.

The Mayor's Fund for London is a non-politically aligned, independent charity which champions opportunities for young Londoners from low-income backgrounds. The Association is established as a Charity for the treatment, care, support, education, training and rehabilitation of persons suffering from various forms of mental illness and to provide help to relatives and carers.

We provide refuge space for Latin American women and children in the UK who flee domestic violence. Our Advice and Information Centre provides advocacy and support for women who are not ready yet to leave abusive relationships or might not be eligible to live in the refuge. We recently took on floating support and we are part of the Islington BME Outreach Project.

Resources for Autism provides practical serices for individuals on the autistic spectrum and their families. These include music and art therapy, play and youth club services, holiday play schemes, adult art studio and social skills groups, home based family support, siblings groups and information and advice. These take place in a range of venues throughout the UK.

ThinkForward is a breakthrough programme which intervenes early to ensure that disengaged young people make a successful transition from education into employment. ThinkForward works with schools to identify young people entering their GCSE years who are most at risk of being unemployed when they leave school, and commits to supporting them for five years through their transition into employment.

The West London Mission (WLM) is a Circuit of the Methodist Church. We have two city centre churches and two areas of mission. The churches engage in worship, learning and caring, service, and evangelism, in ways that reflect Methodist tradition and their own identity, history and context. WLM runs a range of housing and community services and works with students and young adults in both churches.

The general purpose of the charity is to support the objects of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and these are to promote, maintain and advance education, particularly musical education and to encourage the arts including the arts of music, drama, mime, dancing and singing. The main objectives are to focus on the training and employment of ex-offenders on their release from custody. We engage with our participants whilst they are still in prison, follow through in the community and provide training to give them the skills to help secure paid employment or to set up in self employment.
