The Charity makes grants to support individuals and groups, particularly those within the Italian Community and those of Italian descent.

We run creative workshops in East London for refugees, people seeking asylum, other forced migrants and local residents. We have an allotment where we engage in gardening and growing activities, to alleviate stress and share food stories. We also host public events, publish books and videos and run school workshops, to educate the general public about the lived experiences of forced migration.

The main areas of activity this year saw the development of the Inner Vision Music Workshops for Visually Impaired people into 5 areas of London, and the National Tour of the Inner Vision Orchestra These activities have been celebrated in national and regional media including the BBC. The Orchestra and workshops were held under the direction of Baluji Shrivastav OBE, supported by Linda Shanson.

We help charities reconnecting young people to society, through education, job-finding help or other activities, primarily in London. Our maximum grant is 25,000 per annum, for up to 3 years. We do not replace statutory funding or make grants to organisations promoting a particular religious belief unless the work is not for religious purposes and clearly fits our funding guidelines.

Financial assistance is available through the Higher Education Research and Special Expenses Fund to assist deserving young persons following special technical courses full-time at secondary schools or establishments of further education in the area formerly under the control of the London County Council (under Clause 1), and teachers and lecturers in the former LCC area (Clause 2).

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents especially persons who by youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social or economic circumstances may have need for such facilities.

Alleviate distress caused to the breed of dog known as Golden Retrievers which may be ill treated, abandoned or neglected. In cases where Golden Retrievers are abandoned or unwanted, or the dogs can no longer be cared for in their present homes, to re-home the Golden Retrievers to ensure their future well being.

We are a registered charity formed by parents, governors and teachers of Oak Lodge, Oak Bridge and The Windmill schools, London. Our aim is to advance the education of pupils through the provision of facilities, opportunites and real-life experiences not provided by statutory authorities.

A Day Centre for Latin American older people living in London. The centre provides English classes, Latin American folk dance, guitar lessons, drawings and painting in canvass, computer lessons, handy craft and jewllery, exercise sessions, sewing sesions, transalation of documents and phone translations, housing and benefits advice sessions and trips to places of interests.

The Club provides facilities for the local community to pursue the sport of target shooting. We run training courses for members new to the sport and for local young people to come to try the sport. We offer reduced rates/free membership to senior members. We also off the County Association the use of the Range for their competitions.

Relief for poor and Education

The principal function of the association remains in charitable activities that directly or indirectly benefit the minority Chinese living in London. The association runs Chinese school classes on Sundays at Westminster College, which have benefited thousands of Chinese children as well as many of those from other ethnic background.

Support and assist all members of the Society on all matters relating to their learning, training and professional development and on any other matters which affect them as student members of the Institute;To arrange professional, social and sporting events for members;

London in Bloom organisers annual competitions that the Councils, schools, commercial interests and residents of the 31 Boroughs and 2 Cities of Greater London can enter. Awards are given for horticultural excellence with an emphasis on the environment, conservation and recycling.

The object of the ClO is to advance the education of the public in the history of all the railways that have operated in the North East of England, particularly the North Eastern Railway its constituents and successors.
