The charity provides financial assistance to serving and former members of the Metropolitan Police Staff and Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime and their families or dependants who are in need as a result of poverty, sickness, hardship or distress.

Provision of financial aid and providing aid materials and facilities for the relief of poverty, financial hardship, sickness and distress in Nepal or elsewhere in the world as the trustees decide, in particular by the provision of goods, items, aid and relief.

To serve as a centre point for elderly Spanish citizens in the United Kingdom & contribute to their welfare by offering services of social & cultural character through the following activities: Exercise, language & Literacy, Art & Crafts, Computer Skills classes. Daily activities to encourage social interaction: playing card games, dominoes, etc and the offer of general help and advice.

As a unit of the Scout Association we have provided a full and active programme of education and training for young people. We have maintained a good balance between our plans for improvements to our premises associated facilities, cash flow and fund raising with concentration on leadership and recruitment.

The Society runs regular concerts in Farnham and Godalming and educational activities in schools. Farnham Sinfonia became part of the Society in 2018 but became a separate charity in 2022.
