THE TRUST GIVES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ORGANISATIONS RUNNING ACTIVITIES WHICH CONTINUE THE ORIGINAL AIMS AND IDEALS OF ERNEST READ (WHO FOUNDED THE ERNEST READ SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA IN 1931, TO GIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSIC STUDENTS, ADVANCED AMATEURS, TEACHERS AND PROFESSIONALS TO EXPAND THEIR CONCERT REPERTOIRE). THE ORCHESTRA RECEIVES TRUST INCOME TO SUPPORT ITS CONTINUATION OF THIS CONCEPT.

Assists members, former members of the Port of London Authority and their dependents, who are in need, hardship or distress or suffering from sickness, infirmity or disability; and for the education or training of young persons pursuing or desiring to pursue a career on the tidal Thames.

Life Everlasting Parish is a dynamic and vibrant church, dedicated to the advancement of the Christian religion mainly, but not exclusively, by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature. The Church aims to conduct various activities which bring benefit to our community through worship, prayer, events and practical means.

Arts Bridge Charity uses the Arts as a bridge to learning. Our work in local communities empowers participants by introducing them to art forms, making the arts accessible and encouraging them to take ownership of their creativity through practical and analytical exploration. Giving them the tools to create their own work and/or develop an informed appreciation of the arts.

Main activity is to raise funds for Education and training in London, to advance the education of persons under 25 living in the RBKC and surrounding areas by developing their mental, physical and moral capabilities through leisure time activities. To relieve the needs of women and children who have or who are in danger of suffering mental, physical or sexual abuse.The charity has made various grants during the year.

Building new school facilities at St Simon's English school in Orissa.Providing food and shelter for the orphans and children in the charity's care.Providing drinking water to several villages during the dry season.Providing cloth and basic materials at various distribution centres to the needy.Facilitating visits of trustees and volunteers to support the projects in India.

Charity operates as a Church. The Church activities include meeting for services every Sunday and Wednesday. The Church has a Children Department where children are taught and mentored to become good and law abiding citizens. The Church also has Youth Department where young people are mentored and are given career advice. The Church organises conferences that bring Christians together.

Our objectives are to:1. Present high quality operatic productions at the Barn - Oxted's community Theatre.2. Develop the technical skills and innate talents of both amateur and aspirant professional performers and in particular to encourage, support and provide a platform for young singers in gaining performance experience.3. Maintain and develop a multi-generational involvement.

The London Children's Flower Society aims to give children the opportunity to take an interest in horticulture. The Society organises gardening competitions with London's Primary and Special Need schools, growing daffodils in the spring and flowers, vegetables and herbs in the summer.
